Thank you for bringing your concerns before us and ultimately before God's throne of grace. We are here to pray and seek God's will with you. Prayer that is not specifically to Jesus Christ, God the Son does not have access to God the Father. Jesus said in John WEB 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. We are to pray in Jesus Name and to Him.
First, let us consider being in line with biblical principles. Ephesians WEB 5:3 But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints. ... 5:22 Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. ... 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. ... 5:28 Even so must husbands also love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. ... 5:31 For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh. 5:33 But each one of you also must love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
You mention your grandson and his family. We will pray for them and their situation. However, we need to emphasize the importance of biblical marriage and family values. God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and any deviation from this can lead to challenges and heartaches.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved grandson and his family. We pray that You will surround them with Your love, protection, and guidance. We ask for peace and healing from the issues that are going on. We pray that whatever the situation they are going through that it will be used as a testimony of overcoming these issues.
Lord, we also pray for their marriage and family relationships. We ask that You will align their hearts and minds with Your will and Your design for marriage and family. We pray for Godly counsel and the power of the Holy Spirit to convict and guide them in all truth. We pray that if there is any ungodly influences, sexual immorality, or adultery that they will be convicted and turn from it and towards you. If they are not married that they may seek a Godly courtship for the purpose of marriage. We ask that You will strengthen their commitment to each other and to You, and that You will help them to overcome any challenges they may be facing. We pray that if they have not accepted the gift of eternal life through Jesus that they will do so.
Please help them to navigate all these things, and let the outcome be a testimony to the world that you are the God of all. We ask this all in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your grandson and his family, and to trust in God's faithfulness and goodness. Remember the words of Romans WEB 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose and Jeremiah WEB 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
