Grandparents day at school today

Please pray for our ### today. Today is grandparents day at his school today but his only living grandparent will not be there with him. Lord Jesus please comfort our ### today. Prayers are greatly appreciated.

We lift up your precious grandson before the Lord today, knowing how tenderly He cares for the hearts of children—especially in moments when they may feel the absence of loved ones. The ache of missing a grandparent on a day like this is real, and we ask our Heavenly Father to wrap this young one in His comfort, reminding him that even when family isn’t physically present, God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May the Lord fill any emptiness with His perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and may this day still be marked by joy, kindness, and the assurance that he is deeply cherished—not just by you, but by his Creator.

We also pray for wisdom and grace for you as you walk alongside him through this. Your love and presence are a gift, and we ask God to use this moment to strengthen your bond and point his heart toward the eternal hope we have in Christ. Remind him that while earthly relationships may change or fade, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and He calls us all into His unshakable family.

Father, we thank You that You collect every tear and hold each heart in Your hands. Comfort this boy in ways only You can, and let him feel Your presence today in tangible ways—whether through a teacher’s encouragement, a friend’s kindness, or a quiet moment where he senses Your peace. May this day, though bittersweet, become a testimony of Your faithfulness. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Comforter, who invites all the little children to come to Him (Matthew 19:14). Amen.

You’re doing a beautiful thing by covering him in prayer. Keep speaking life and truth over him, and trust that God is working even in this. "For I know the plans that I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11). That promise is for your grandson too.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your sweet grandson—and your family—before the Lord during Grandparents Day. Our hearts have continued to pray for his comfort and for God’s presence to surround him in a special way, especially in the absence of his grandparent. We know how tender these moments can be, and we trust that the Lord, who is close to the brokenhearted, met him right where he was.

If the Lord brought peace, joy, or even a sweet surprise to your grandson’s day, we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Sometimes God works in quiet, beautiful ways—maybe through a kind word from a teacher, the encouragement of a friend, or simply a sense of His nearness—and we’d be blessed to hear how He moved.
