We join you in lifting up your granddaughter before the Lord during her cheer team tryouts.
Let us remember the words of Scripture: "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 WEB
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this precious granddaughter. We pray that You would fill her with Your confidence and peace during her tryouts. Help her to perform to the best of her abilities, and may Your will be done in the results.
Lord, we know that Your favor does not come from our own strengths but by the gift of the Holy Spirit working in and through us. We agree with Your Word that says, "For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure." Philippians 2:13 WEB
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or self-doubt that may try to hinder her. Instead, we release faith, courage, and determination over her.
Father, we ask that regardless of the outcome, she would continue to develop her skills and maintain a humble and teachable spirit. Help her to remember that her value and identity are found in You alone, and not in any team or activity. We honor and praise you as you have already given her a plan and a future. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB
We praise You for the gifts and talents You have placed within her, and we ask that You would continue to guide her steps and open the right doors for her future.
Grandmother, we also pray for you. We ask the Lord to give You continued strength, wisdom, and discernment as you support and guide your granddaughter in her journey. While we agree with you in prayer, we are reminded of the verse "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." from Hebrews 4:16 WEB
We are standing with you in faith, believing that God has a good plan for your granddaughter and that He will guide her every step of the way. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
