Grandchildren Wronged At Their School

I have 2 grandchildren ricky and kayla that have a hereditary

hearing loss. They are 14 and 12 years old. The grandson is having problems with his school work. Serious problems. The granddaughter is having problems with people at school not wanting to be friends with her. I have talked to the principal and teachers and they will do nothing to take their problems into account. They both should have been put on and IEP but the school has refused to accommodate them in any way. Mather of fact they are only making things worse for them. I do not know how to help them or what to do. They have been terribly mistreated. Should I take them out of school and try to teach them at home. They are only seeing failure now in every area of their lives. Please pray God will help these children and put them where they should be for a life of love and contentment. This is breaking my heart. The more I tell the teachers what their doctor is saying the worse it gets. God bless each and everyone that prays for these children

Dear Heavenly Father, please provide the guardians of Ricky & Kayla with the wisdom, insight and faith to find the appropriate circumstandces and location for their education. May You provide them a teacher(s) with the grace, patience and love which they will need to reach their fullest potential and provide them all the greatest opportunities possible. Please Lord, comfort and keep these children close to You. Please let them feel Your presence and be comforted by Your promise to fulfill their every need. Please protect them from maltreatment and abuse. Please give their family comfort in Your word and our prayers. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

It is an unfortunate human, and animal, response that when one is showing weakness or illness, the others seek to destroy it. It's a left-over instinct that no longer serves a purpose, but we still have it. Making someone aware of that weakness, rather than having the desired nurturing effect, produces the exact opposite.

I've experienced this first-hand myself. The worst thing you could do is tell their teachers to treat your grandchild extra special nice. Try to remember, the teachers and the other kids, they're all coming with baggage, too.

Lord we ask you to watch over these children and be a tent for them and surround them with your prescence.touch their bodies and give them healing in their ears.open these ears and let the Glory go to You Lord.

Father I pray for Ricky and Kayla that you would completely heal thier hearing loss. I ask that you help them with thier problems in school that you would protect them and comfort them. I pray for a blessing for this loving grandmother. I ask you to guide her so she will know exactly what to do. Comfort her and heal her broken heart and let her feel your presence so she will know you are right there with her.
