Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Grace to Fast & Pray, Isa 58:6-12, Intercede, Isa 62:3... 🙇🏻 Nearness to God, James 4:7, Revelation, Eph 1:17 Intimacy, Jn 15:7, Wisdom, Col 1:9, Strength, Love Christ Dwells within, Eph 3:16-20, Direction, Jn 10:27, Rom 8:14, Confirmation, Matt 18:16, 2 Cor 13:1 -- Dear Father, thank You for being intimately acquainted with all our ways, Ps 139:3. Very much alone right now for various reasons and requesting "the NEARNESS of GOD to be MY GOOD" Ps 73:28. "Anchor My Soul in the Cleft of The Rock." I ask for wisdom and revelation, Eph 1:17, grace to praise and worship, Ps 149:1-5 and ability to hear Your voice, Jn 10:27...

Bible Study group "doesn't do street preaching, just discipleship" so I have no one to go with me -- the saying is true, "the harvest is plentiful, the laborers are few," Luke 10:2, so I continue to ask for wisdom and direction as obviously this does not align with the Bible that teaches evangelism as a lifestyle as well as Jesus and the Apostles prescribe and demonstrate public proclamation of the gospel, actually gospel -- (euangellion) can be rendered "good announcement" or "good proclamation" as "good news" is heralded abroad, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:45-49, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:22-47, Acts 3:12-26, Acts 17:22-34, et cetera... Grace to remain in love but to show whole counsel of God, Acts 20:27...

Though asking grace to pray and fast for my spouse to return with my son for over a year now (with little to show for it presently), nevertheless, I honestly have endeavored to obey God to "Lead the Way" and I trust the word of God shared will not return void, Isa 55:10-11, and the good deeds of love cannot be hidden, 1 Tim 5:25... Help me forgive from the heart and put her into Your hands and I do pray make me a better example in all my life, lifestyle, thoughts, words, deeds, speech actions and most of all reactions, Ps 19:14.

I know the Lord is praying in a similar way as He did for Peter, that though the devil desires to "sift us like wheat, He ever lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, praying my faith won't fail, and afterward I strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for the church the gates of hell will not prevail against to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, for nearness to God, James 4:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, and as the old hymn sets forth, "Though none come with me, still I will follow," (Old Rugged Cross).

Deliver me, my matrimonial spouse and youngster from temptation, sin, deception and lies, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, Prov 30:8. Let the Word GO FORTH, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:1-2, 3, John 17:15, and let me see together with the rest of the righteous the day the serpent be choked with a great chain by "an angel" Rev 20:2. Thank You in JESUS' NAME...

P.S. -- Thank you for sending an earthquake, Amos 3:6, three (3) mins after I warned her JESUS disciplines and REPROVES those HE LOVES, Rev 3:19, and 1 minute after warning about rejecting church discipline, Matt 18:15-17. DO whatever it takes O Lord Jesus, come quickly, Rev 22:17, Amen.

We hear your heart’s cry for nearness to God, wisdom, and strength as you walk through this season of loneliness and spiritual burden. Your longing for intimacy with the Lord is beautiful, and we join you in seeking His face with fasting and prayer, trusting that He draws near to those who draw near to Him (James 4:8). The Scriptures you’ve cited—Isaiah 58, Ephesians 1:17, and Psalm 73:28—remind us that true fasting is not merely abstaining from food but a posture of humility and dependence on God, who alone satisfies the soul.

Your concern about the lack of evangelistic zeal in your Bible study group is valid. Jesus’ command to go into all the world and preach the gospel (Mark 16:15) is not optional for believers. The harvest is indeed plentiful, and the laborers are few (Luke 10:2), but this should compel us to action, not resignation. We pray that the Lord would raise up bold witnesses in your midst, and if He is calling you to step out in faith—even alone—we encourage you to obey, trusting that He will go before you. The early church thrived under persecution because they proclaimed Christ without fear (Acts 8:4). May the Lord grant you wisdom and courage to live as a light in darkness, whether others join you or not.

Your faithfulness in praying for your spouse and son, despite the silence and distance, is a testament to your trust in God’s sovereignty. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we stand with you in interceding for restoration, not just of the relationship but of hearts surrendered to Christ. Forgiveness is key—holding onto bitterness will only hinder your prayers (Mark 11:25). We rebuke the enemy’s lies that seek to divide your family and declare that no weapon formed against your marriage will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Yet we must also gently remind you that God’s discipline is meant for repentance and restoration (Revelation 3:19), not as a tool for manipulation. The earthquake you mentioned should serve as a sobering reminder of God’s power, but our response must always align with His love and justice, not our own timing or methods.

We pray now, lifting your requests before the throne of grace:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Lord, draw near to Your servant as they seek You with fasting and prayer. Fill them with Your Spirit, granting them wisdom, revelation, and an unshakable intimacy with You. Where loneliness threatens to overwhelm, let Your presence be their comfort and strength. Where doubt creeps in, remind them that Your Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11), and that even in silence, You are working.

Father, we ask for a fresh fire of evangelism to burn in Your church. Raise up laborers who will boldly proclaim the gospel in word and deed, and give this dear one courage to step out in faith, even if they must go alone. Let their life be a living testimony of Your grace, and may their obedience inspire others to follow.

For their marriage and family, we pray for restoration and healing. Soften hearts, Lord, and break the chains of sin and deception that seek to destroy this covenant. Help them to forgive fully and to trust You with the outcome, knowing that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19). Guard their hearts from bitterness and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding.

Strengthen them, O God, with power through Your Spirit in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). May they know the height, depth, and width of Your love, and may that love compel them to walk in obedience, even when the path is difficult.

We rebuke the enemy’s schemes to sift this family like wheat, and we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper. Protect them from temptation, deception, and the evil one, and let Your Word go forth with power in their lives. May they see the day when the serpent is bound and Your kingdom reigns in fullness.

Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You in Jesus’ name. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Strengthen this brother/sister in Christ, and let them be a vessel of Your glory in this season. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to press into God’s presence, knowing that He rewards those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Even when the road is lonely, remember that Jesus promised, “I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20). Your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We stand with you in your longing for God's nearness, wisdom, and strength during this time. Your commitment to fasting and prayer is commendable, and we join you in seeking God's face. As you've shared, true fasting is not just about abstaining from food but about humbling ourselves and depending on God, who alone satisfies the soul (Psalm 73:28).
