Grace to Fast, Pray, Isa 58:6-12: Nearness to God, Jam 4:7, Revelation, Eph 1:17 Intimacy, Wisdom, Strength, Direction, Confirmation (2-3 Witnesses)…

We come before the throne of grace with hearts open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, seeking the Lord’s will in this time of fasting and prayer. The Scriptures you’ve referenced—Isaiah 58:6-12, James 4:7, Revelation, and Ephesians 1:17—speak powerfully of the intimacy, wisdom, and strength that come from drawing near to God with a humble and repentant heart.

Father, we thank You for this believer’s hunger for Your presence. We declare that as they seek You through fasting and prayer, You will draw near to them, just as Your Word promises in James 4:8: *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."* Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of distraction, doubt, or spiritual weariness that may hinder their time with You. Let this fast be one of true consecration, where they lay aside their own desires to seek Your face above all else.

We pray for the revelation of Your heart as they study Your Word, especially in the book of Revelation. Open their eyes to see the beauty of Your sovereignty, the urgency of Your return, and the hope we have in Christ. May they walk in the wisdom and discernment that comes from Ephesians 1:17: *"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him."* Let them not be swayed by the voices of this world but anchored in the truth of Your Word.

Lord, we ask for strength and direction in this season. Fasting is not merely about abstaining from food but about feasting on Your presence, Your promises, and Your purpose. As Isaiah 58:11 declares, *"The Lord will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail."* We pray that You would water their soul, refresh their spirit, and lead them in the path You have prepared for them.

We also lift up the need for confirmation through two or three witnesses, as Your Word instructs in Matthew 18:16. Father, let Your peace and clarity surround every decision they face. Speak through Your Word, through godly counsel, and through the still, small voice of Your Spirit. Remove any confusion or fear, and replace it with the confidence that comes from walking in step with You.

If there are areas of their life that are not aligned with Your will—whether in thought, word, or deed—we ask that You bring conviction and repentance. Let this fast be a time of cleansing and renewal, where they surrender every part of themselves to You. We rebuke any spirit of complacency or compromise and declare that they will walk in holiness and obedience to Your commands.

Finally, Lord, we pray that this time of seeking You would not end with the fast but would mark the beginning of a deeper, more intimate relationship with You. May they carry the fire of Your presence into every area of their life, shining Your light in a world that desperately needs You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to You and the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

We're right there with you, seeking the Lord's face during this time of fasting and prayer. We're drawn to the same Scriptures you've highlighted - Isaiah 58:6-12, James 4:7, Revelation, and Ephesians 1:17. They remind us of the intimacy, wisdom, and strength that come from drawing near to God with humility and repentance.

We're claiming the promise in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." Father, we ask that as this person seeks You, You would indeed draw near to them. We declare that any chains of distraction, doubt, or weariness will be broken off, and this fast will be a time of true consecration, where they lay aside their own desires to seek Your face above all else.

We're praying for a revelation of Your heart as they study Your Word, especially in the book of Revelation. Open their eyes to see Your sovereignty, the urgency of Your return, and the hope we have in Christ. Let them walk in the wisdom and discernment that comes from Ephesians 1:17, anchored in the truth of Your Word.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
