Good and Faithful Servant
🙇🏻 Father, thank You that "through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures 📖 we have hope," Rom 15:4. In the midst of trials, we pray, Jesus taught, Luke 18:1. So I supplicate, You who spared not Your Only Begotten Son, John 3:16, but with Him You will graciously give us all things, Rom 8:32, Help me study to show myself approved, 2 Tim 2:15, read and listen to good biblical counseling material, Ps 23:3, write prayers and teachings that benefit myself and others -- and may trials NOT HINDER the ADVANCEMENT OF THE GOSPEL of The KINGDOM of JESUS, 1 Thes 2:2, but rather let it go forth with power and be received as the actual Word, not of man, but of God, Rom 1:16, 2 Thes 2:13.

Give Your angels charge over my wife, son, me, our pastors and all of you my prayer partners (including all their and your families), Ps 91:9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16. Sanctify us in the Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17. May we clearly hear Your voice, John 10:27, being constantly led by The Holy Spirit (as adopted children with the same Father as Jesus and each other), Rom 8:14, and MOSTLY obeying Your voice, even if it's difficult or costs us something, Gen 22:16-18; 2 Sam 24:24. Keep us all from all sin, Zeph 3:13, temptation, evil, evil people and the evil one, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15 -- keep deception and lies far from us, Prov 30:8.

Again, allow trials to draw me (and our readers, prayer and financial partners) closer to You in prayer, James 5:13. Help us read, memorize and apply The Bible, Ps 119:11, with understanding, Lk 24:45, and application, James 1:21-22. Help me worship like Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail, Acts 16:25. Help me fast the fast You have chosen, to loose bondages, set the oppressed free and restore righteous dwellings and covenantal relationships, Isa 58:6-12. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We lift this heartfelt request before the throne of grace, recognizing the deep desire to walk faithfully through trials while advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Your prayer reflects a beautiful commitment to worship, Scripture, and obedience, even in hardship. We stand with you in agreement, declaring that trials will not hinder the Gospel but will instead become platforms for God’s power and glory to be revealed.

First, we affirm the foundation of your prayer in the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have anchored your hope in Christ, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Without Him, our prayers would be in vain, but with Him, we have confidence that the Father hears us (1 John 5:14-15).

We pray for you, your wife, and your son, that the Lord would surround you with His angels, as you’ve asked, guarding you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). May He sanctify you in His truth, for His Word is truth (John 17:17). We ask that you would hear His voice clearly, as sheep know the voice of their Shepherd (John 10:27), and that you would follow Him with unwavering obedience, even when the path is difficult. Abraham’s willingness to obey, even to the point of sacrificing his son, was met with God’s provision and blessing (Genesis 22:16-18). May your obedience likewise be met with His faithfulness.

Trials are not without purpose. James reminds us to count it all joy when we encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces perseverance (James 1:2-3). We pray that these trials would draw you and all who read this closer to the Lord in prayer, just as Paul and Silas worshiped in the midst of their imprisonment (Acts 16:25). May your worship rise like incense before the Lord, a sweet aroma that pleases Him (Psalm 141:2). Let your fasting be the fast He has chosen—a fast that loosens the chains of injustice, sets the oppressed free, and restores righteousness in homes and relationships (Isaiah 58:6-12).

We also lift up your desire to study Scripture diligently, to show yourself approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). May the Holy Spirit open your eyes to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:45), and may you hide His Word in your heart so that you might not sin against Him (Psalm 119:11). Let your writing and teaching be a source of encouragement and edification to others, as Paul urged Timothy to bring the parchments (2 Timothy 4:13), that the Gospel might go forth with power (Romans 1:16).

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or distraction that would seek to hinder your study, worship, or evangelism. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we declare that he will not prevail against you. We stand against deception, lies, and every scheme of the evil one, for the Lord is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We pray that you would be kept from sin and temptation, that your heart would remain pure before the Lord (Zephaniah 3:13).

Finally, we pray for your pastors and all who partner with you in prayer and support. May the Lord strengthen their hands for the work of ministry, and may they be examples of faithfulness and integrity. We ask that the Gospel would advance through you and through them, not as the word of men, but as the very Word of God (1 Thessalonians 2:13). May it be received with power, conviction, and transformation, for the kingdom of God is not in word but in power (1 Corinthians 4:20).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You in the name of Jesus. We ask that You would fulfill every godly desire in this prayer. Strengthen this family, sanctify them, and use them mightily for Your glory. Let their trials become testimonies, their worship a fragrant offering, and their obedience a light to the world. May the Gospel advance through them with power, and may Your name be exalted in all the earth. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We echo your heartfelt plea, dear friend, and join you in supplication. We're reminded of Paul's words in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's trust in His peace and provision amidst trials.

We're inspired by your commitment to worship, study, and obedience, even in hardship. Let's remember that trials are opportunities for God's power to be revealed in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray that these trials would draw you closer to God, just as gold is refined by fire (1 Peter 1:7).

We ask for wisdom and understanding as you study the Scriptures, that you may be approved and not put to shame (2 Timothy 2:15). May your writing and teachings be a blessing to others, as you seek to glorify God and edify the Church.

We also pray for protection against the enemy's schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11), that you may be kept from sin and temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). We ask for unity and strength among your prayer partners and pastors, that together, you may advance the Gospel with power and conviction (1 Thessalonians 2:13).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
