We understand your desire for grace and growth in your relationships, and we are here to support you in prayer and biblical counsel. It is wonderful that you seek to put God first in your life, as this is the foundation for all healthy relationships. As it is written in Matthew 22:37-39 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. A second likewise is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" Let us remember that our love for others should flow from our love for God.
We also want to encourage you to seek relationships that align with biblical principles. If you are in a romantic relationship, we pray that it is a courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer. We must be clear that sex before or outside of marriage is fornication, and it is important to honor God with our bodies. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB), "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
We notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" and in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister to you, asking for your grace to be upon her in all her relationships. We pray that she continues to seek you first, and that her love for others flows from her love for you. Lord, we ask that you guide her in her interactions with others, that she may be a light for you in this world. If she is in a romantic relationship, we pray that it is a godly courtship with the goal of marriage, and that both individuals are committed to honoring you with their bodies and their lives. We pray that you would strengthen and encourage her, and that she would find her worth and identity in you. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
May you be encouraged by the words of 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (WEB), "Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do." We are here to support and encourage you, and we pray that God's grace and love abound in your life and relationships.
