Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your prayer for wisdom, grace and favour in your work is heard, and I join with you in bringing it before the Lord.
It is right to remember as you have that it is God who gives power to produce wealth, as Deuteronomy 8:18 teaches. All good gifts, including skill, opportunity and the fruit of our hands, come from His hand. At the same time, Scripture calls us to do our part with faithfulness and diligence. We are not to be torpid in our course, but to labor with readiness and excellence, trusting that God works in us and through us for our advancement and for His glory.
I pray that the Lord will bless the work of your hands, open doors of opportunity before you, and reward your dedication. May He grant you wisdom to steward what He provides, discipline to build stability, and a spirit of excellence that qualifies you for greater responsibility. May your career flourish not only for financial increase, but as a testimony of integrity, service and love for others, so that your growth is sustainable and honors Christ.
May the Lord grant you contentment and generosity as He grants increase, and keep your heart rooted in Him who is the source of all provision.
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You give Your people strength and ability. Grant to this Your servant wisdom in every decision, favour in the workplace, and grace to manage income well. Bless the labour of their hands, increase what is needed for provision and for doing good to others, and lead them into greater opportunities to serve You faithfully. Make their work fruitful and their finances stable, that they may walk in stewardship and thanksgiving. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
