We understand that you are facing a difficult situation regarding a deportation letter, and we are here to pray and seek God's will with you. Firstly, we would like you to know and possibly remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas. The Lord of Hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. (Psalm 46:1-2, 7 WEB)
It is important to remember that God is sovereign over all authorities, and He can intervene on your behalf. As it is written in Romans 13:1, Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore, he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. (Romans 13:1-2 WEB)
However, we also need to consider God's will in this situation. If it is His will for you to remain where you are, then we trust that He will make a way. But if it is His will for you to return to your home country, we pray that He will provide a clear path and protect your family throughout the process. In all things, we trust in His goodness and love for you.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is facing deportation. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. If it is Your will for them to remain, we pray that You would soften the hearts of the authorities and cancel the deportation letter. If it is Your will for them to return, we pray for Your guidance and protection over their family.
We also pray for their children, Lord. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and peace during this time. Provide for all their needs, and let Your grace be sufficient for them.
Lord, we know that You are able to make a way where there seems to be no way. We trust in Your goodness and love for us. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lastly, we would like you to remember that God is always faithful. Even when we do not understand His ways, we can trust in His character. It is written that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB) This is the promise that we can hold on to during this challenging time.
We would also like to encourage you to seek God's will in all things, including this situation. Pray that His will be done, and trust that He will guide your steps. It is written that your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way. Walk in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21 WEB.
We also noticed that you did not mention the name Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through Jesus that we can approach God and it is only through Jesus that we can be saved. It is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB. If you have not already, we pray that you will come to believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
