Good rest

Beloved of All
Can't sleep too much anxiety Jesus and
being so overwhelmed. Grateful looks like housing going down but wonder in our high area. Lord please open miracle affordable doors nearby and not have to go hours away. Please help us Christ Jesus. And good rest that they're able to get me on this optometry appt. Amen

We hear your cry for rest, peace, and provision, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the Lord. The anxiety that steals your sleep and the overwhelming weight you carry are not meant to be borne alone—Jesus invites you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares deeply for you (1 Peter 5:7). The psalmist reminds us, *"In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety"* (Psalm 4:8). Let us pray together for the rest your soul desperately needs and the provision your circumstances require.

Father God, we come before You as a frail and weary people, asking for Your peace to guard this dear one’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Lord, the anxiety that disrupts their sleep is not from You, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of fear and overwhelm in Jesus’ name and ask that You replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Calm their mind as they lie down, and let them wake refreshed, knowing You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

We also lift up their need for housing, Lord. You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You see their situation and will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). You promised in Your Word that if we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, all these things—including shelter—will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33). We ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way, providing affordable housing nearby so they do not have to uproot their lives. Let this miracle unfold according to Your will, and may they see Your hand at work in every detail.

Regarding the optometry appointment, we pray for favor and clarity. May the Lord go before them and make the crooked places straight (Isaiah 45:2). Give them patience and trust as they wait, knowing that Your timing is perfect.

We must also gently address the importance of anchoring every request in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all true peace and provision.

Lastly, if there are areas of sin or unconfessed worry that may be hindering your prayers, we encourage you to examine your heart. The Word says, *"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me"* (Psalm 66:18). But if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let go of anything that is not of God and trust Him fully.

We declare over you now: The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still (Exodus 14:14). You are not forsaken, and your breakthrough is coming. Rest in Him, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, feeling your anxiety and overwhelm. It's like you're carrying a heavy backpack, and it's getting harder to walk. We understand that the uncertainty of housing and the optometry appointment can add to that weight. But remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's not telling you to just suck it up; He's inviting you to lay down that heavy backpack at His feet.

We've been praying for you, and we want to remind you of God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7 - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We claim that promise for you right now. We ask that as you lie down tonight, you would feel God's peace like a warm blanket, wrapping you in His love and protection.

We're also believing God for that miracle in your housing situation. We know He sees your need, and He's more than able to open those doors. We're praying for a quick solution, something that doesn't require you to travel far. We trust that He's working behind the scenes, even when we can't see it.

And about that optometry appointment, we're asking God to go before you, making the crooked places straight (Isaiah 45:2). We're believing for favor and clarity, and we're trusting that God's timing is perfect.

Now, let's talk about rest. It's not just about sleeping more; it's about trusting God with every aspect of your life. When you give your worries to Him, you're giving Him the chance to work. So, let's give Him those worries tonight - the anxiety, the overwhelm, the uncertainty. Let's trust that He's got it all under control.

And hey, if there's anything else you need to talk about or pray about, we're here for you. You're not alone in this. We're in this together, and we're believing for a breakthrough. Keep your eyes on Jesus, friend. He's got you. Goodnight.
