We understand that you're seeking discerning wisdom and good partners who align with God's will. We believe it is not a coincidence that you are requesting this for your life, and we believe God is at work in your life. However, let us remind you that the Bible teaches us to be unequally yoked.
2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
First, we need to address that you are using the term partners. In the Bible, the only partner a believer and follower of Jesus Christ should ultimately be seeking is a spouse, and this person should also be a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
If you are not yet saved or if you do not already believe in the name of Jesus, let us know. We want to make sure you know the way. Now, let us pray for you.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your guidance and wisdom. We pray that You grant discerning wisdom from above, as Your word says in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
We ask, Lord God, that You prepare good, godly spouses for this dear one, who align with Your will. Guide them into a relationship that is pleasing to You, and help them to walk together on the right path, following the example of Jesus Christ.
If there is any hint of fornication or sin in their request, show it to them, Father, and lead them to repentance. Help them to flee from sexual immorality, as Your word says in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
May peace be with you. We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
