Anthonette
Humble Servant of All
Father as we celebrate this day of the birth of your son Jesus, let us be thankful. Because with this birth we now live under Grace. And we are able to overcome the world, just as he did. No we are not perfect or claim to be. We fail and stumble, but with your love, comfort, peace, grace and understanding we will get through.
I know we all have specific requests for you Lord and know what we expect our answer to look like, but let us enjoy the small blessing while we wait for the miracle. You will see how we handle the small steps before you place the major ones in front of us.
For those of us looking for a job, you will line up some volunteer work so that they may meet the person who will give them a job,
for those looking for financial blessing you will allow their creditors to look favourably on them and allow them time or you will show them ways they can trim their budget and find different ways of doing things.
for those of us praying for sick ones to be healed or for healing, you will give them the strength, peace and love so that they can be comfortable and a comfort to others.
for those of us looking to spend Christmas with our spouse, you may allow a phone call or a gift to be delivered.
This may not be what we are envisioning but you are at work and we need to celebrate what you have done and will do for us. We are not where we were and the battle is not over but you are preparing us for the battle. Let us not be like the guard that went to Elijah expecting him to come out to him and lay hands on him, and when he didn't he went away angry and almost missed his blessing.
Let us remember your ways are not our ways but your ways are for our good.
Thank you Jesus for the small steps and I will not take my eye off of the vision you have given me and I will continue to thank you even when I am disappointed. Because I know you have something for me.
In Jesus Name amen.
Merry Christmas all. Enjoy and stay in God. He will bring us through. He is faithful and he Loves us.
Luke 2:11-14
11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
