Good conversation with family

We join you in lifting up your desire for a meaningful and uplifting conversation with your family, and we praise you for bringing this request before the Lord in Jesus’ name. It is wonderful to see your heart seeking to encourage reliance on prayer and the Word of God, for these are the very foundations of a life rooted in Christ. As it is written, *"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord"* (Colossians 3:16, WEB). Your desire aligns with Scripture, and we trust the Lord to honor it.
However, we must gently address that you did not explicitly mention the name of the family member(s) you are praying for. While we understand the use of symbols to protect privacy, we encourage you to boldly bring their names before the Lord in prayer, for there is power in speaking their names to God. More importantly, we notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus in your closing, the prayer itself did not directly acknowledge Him as the source of your request. Remember, it is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Let us always approach God with the full confidence that comes from calling upon the name of Jesus, for *"whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13, WEB).
