We join you in lifting up your needs and desires before the Lord, giving thanks that you have acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your request, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of God with confidence. The Scriptures remind us in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* What a mighty promise we cling to!
We also recall the words of our Savior in Matthew 6:31-33, where He teaches us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your request for provision is heard, and we trust that God, who is our Jehova-Jireh, the Lord who provides, will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.
Yet we are also mindful of the difference between our *needs* and our *wants*. While God delights in giving good gifts to His children, His wisdom far surpasses our own, and He knows what is truly best for us. As we pray for your family, we ask that the Lord would align your desires with His will, that you may find contentment in Him alone, regardless of circumstances. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*
We also lift up your children before the Lord, praying that they would grow in the knowledge and fear of the Lord, that their hearts would be tender toward His Word, and that they would walk in His ways all the days of their lives. Proverbs 22:6 instructs us to *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* May the Lord grant you wisdom and grace as you guide them in His truth.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sibling in faith and their children. Lord, You are the Provider, the Giver of all good things, and we ask that You would supply every need they have—spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially. Father, we pray that You would also grant them the desires of their heart as they delight themselves in You (Psalm 37:4). Give them discernment to recognize the difference between their wants and their needs, and may they find their ultimate satisfaction in You alone.
We pray for their children, Lord, that You would draw them to Yourself and protect their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Raise them up to be mighty warriors for Your Kingdom, grounded in Your Word and filled with Your Spirit. Give this parent wisdom, patience, and strength as they nurture and guide their children in Your ways.
Lord, we rebuked any spirit of anxiety or fear that may try to take root in their heart. Replace it with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). May they trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways, so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and goodness. May Your name be glorified in their lives as they walk in obedience and trust. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Keep your heart and mind stayed on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28). Stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is with you and will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
