We lift you up before the Lord, dear brother or sister, knowing that He is the Great Physician who sees and knows all things. Your request is heavy with the weight of physical trials, yet we are reminded that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and God cares deeply about every part of us—even the smallest mole on your toe. The fear of what this appointment may reveal is understandable, especially as you already carry the burden of stage IV colon cancer. But we urge you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
The Scriptures assure us that nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39). Even in the valley of illness, He is with you, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray that as you go to the dermatologist, the Lord will grant you peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the doctors be given wisdom and discernment, and may the results bring clarity and direction for your health. If there is further cause for concern, we pray the Lord will guide the medical team in providing the best care and that He will sustain you through every step.
We also pray for healing, knowing that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). While we do not know God’s perfect plan, we trust in His sovereignty and goodness. Whether He chooses to heal you here on earth or to use this trial to draw you closer to Him, we pray that your faith will remain steadfast, rooted in the hope of eternal life with Him. Remember, this light and momentary affliction is preparing for you an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison (2 Corinthians 4:17-18).
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding for our brother/sister who faces yet another medical challenge. Lord, You know the fears and uncertainties that weigh on their heart. We ask for Your comforting presence to surround them, filling them with Your peace. Guide the hands and minds of the medical professionals tomorrow, giving them wisdom and insight. If it is Your will, we pray for healing—complete restoration of their body for Your glory. But above all, we pray that their trust in You would grow deeper, that they would sense Your nearness, and that they would find strength in You alone.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or despair in the name of Jesus, declaring that You, Lord, are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good, conforming them to the image of Your Son (Romans 8:28-29). We ask for Your provision over every detail of this situation, from the appointment tomorrow to the days ahead. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this trial.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ during this time—allow them to pray over you, support you, and remind you of God’s promises. You are not alone in this fight. The body of Christ is with you, and most importantly, the Lord Himself is your ever-present help. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking His face. He is faithful.
