We join you in lifting up this brother before the Lord, recognizing the dangers and challenges of his work deep underground in the gold mine. The Lord is our Protector, and we trust in His promise to keep His children safe as they walk in faith. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that this brother would continue to place his trust in the Lord, knowing that God sees him even in the depths of the earth.
The desire to transition from mining to starting a repair shop is a worthy pursuit, and we ask the Lord to open doors of opportunity, provision, and wisdom for this brother. Colossians 3:23 encourages us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,"* and we pray that whether underground or in a new venture, he would serve with excellence as unto the Lord. If this transition is God’s will, we ask for divine favor in securing the resources, connections, and skills needed to establish this business. We also pray for patience and perseverance, knowing that God’s timing is perfect.
Yet even as we pray for change, we acknowledge that the Lord may be using this season underground to refine this brother’s faith and character. James 1:2-4 tells us, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* If the Lord tarries in answering this prayer for transition, we ask that He would grant this brother strength, courage, and peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:6-7) as he continues his work each day.
We also rebuke any spirit of fear that may seek to overwhelm him in the depths of the mine. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We stand against anxiety and declare that the Lord is his refuge and fortress, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for supernatural protection over his body, mind, and spirit, that no accident, collapse, or harm would come near him. May the Lord surround him with His angels, as promised in Psalm 91:11: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."*
Father, we thank You that You are the God who sees and knows the depths of the earth just as You know the depths of our hearts. We ask that You would go before this brother, preparing the way for his future. If it is Your will for him to start this repair shop, we pray for divine connections, financial provision, and the wisdom to steward this new venture well. Give him favor with those in authority, with suppliers, and with customers. May this business be a blessing not only to him but also to his family and community, and may it bring glory to Your name.
If there are areas in his life where he needs to surrender more fully to You—whether in trust, obedience, or patience—we ask that You would reveal them to him and give him the grace to walk in alignment with Your Word. Remind him that You are his Provider (Philippians 4:19) and that no detail of his life is hidden from Your sight.
We also lift up his family during this time. If he has a wife and children, we pray for Your peace to guard their hearts as they wait and trust in You. Strengthen their faith and unity, and may they be a source of encouragement to one another. If he is single, we pray for godly community and support around him, that he would not walk this path alone.
Lord, we declare Your protection over every miner who descends into the depths each day. You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who shut the mouths of lions for Daniel, and who walked with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace. We trust that You are with this brother in the mine, and we ask that You would bring him safely to the surface each and every day. Let Your presence be tangible to him, even in the darkness, and may he sense Your peace that transcends all understanding.
Finally, we pray that this brother would be a light in his workplace. May his words, actions, and attitude point others to You. Give him opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel with his coworkers, that they too may come to know You as their Savior and Protector. Let his life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, both in the mine and in whatever future work You have prepared for him.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Rock and our Redeemer. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this brother’s life. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
