We understand your concern for this brother who is working deep underground in a gold mine daily. We are grateful that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our occupations. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." We pray that this brother will find strength and purpose in these words, serving the Lord diligently in his current occupation.
We are concerned about this brother working 3 km underground daily. This is an extremely dangerous job and should only be done with the utmost precautions. The Bible tells us to test everything and hold onto the good. Working in a dangerous environment like this is unlikely to be God's best for his life. However, we trust that the Lord is with him even in the most difficult of circumstances. As it is written in Isaiah 43:2 WEB: "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you."
We pray that the Lord will keep him safe during this challenging time and every other time. We pray for the Lord's divine protection over his life, that no harm will come to him, and that he will be filled with a supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding.
Regarding his desire to start a mining-machine repair shop, we encourage him to seek the Lord's will and guidance. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that the Lord will open the right doors for this endeavor if it is His will, and provide all the necessary resources and wisdom to establish and run the repair shop according to biblical principles. We also pray for patience and contentment in his current situation, knowing that God's timing is perfect.
Lastly, we encourage this brother to continue walking in faith, trusting that God has a plan and purpose for his life. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother who is working deep underground in a gold mine. We thank You that You are with him, even in the most challenging of circumstances. We pray for Your divine protection over his life, that no harm will come to him, and that he will be filled with Your supernatural peace.
Lord, we also bring before You his desire to start a mining-machine repair shop. We pray that You will guide him, open the right doors and provide all the necessary resources if this is Your will for his life. Help him to be patient, to trust in Your timing, and to find contentment in his current situation.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
