We understand your concern for this brother who is working deep underground in a gold mine daily. We trust in the name of Jesus, you have to go to the Father and He will hear you. Let's bring his situation before the Lord together. First let us look at the scriptures.
Here is a reminder of the promise we have in Christ Jesus from Romans 10:9-10,13 WEB:
because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
And in regards to our prayers, Jesus Christ taught us in John 14:13-14 WEB:
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
And from John 16:23-24 WEB:
In that day you will not ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.
We are also reminded of the love God has for us in Romans 8:38-39 WEB:
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Now let us pray for this brother who is going 3 km underground in a gold mine daily in the name of Jesus:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother who is working deep underground in a gold mine. We thank Jesus for becoming our curse on the cross, that His blessing would be in our lives. We thank you that through Jesus Christ, we have access to your throne of grace, and we boldly come before you, seeking your will for this brother's life. We pray as your word will direct us to John 15:7 WEB:
If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
Lord, you know the concerns and the dangers associated with working in such conditions. We pray for his safety and protection as he goes about his daily work. We ask that you would surround him with your angels and hedge him in with your loving kindness and mercy. We pray against any spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask that you would fill him with your peace that surpasses all understanding in Philippians 4:7 WEB:
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We also lift up his desire to start a mining-machine repair shop. Lord, we pray that you would guide him in this endeavor, and if it is your will, open the doors for this business to prosper. We ask that you would provide him with the wisdom, knowledge, and resources needed to establish and run this shop successfully. We pray this all in Jesus name and for your glory Father. We do know that he must seek first the kingdom of God.
Lord, we also pray for his spiritual well-being. We ask that you would draw him closer to you, and that he would continue to trust in you with all his heart. We pray that he would find his strength and courage in you, and that he would be a light for you in the darkness of the mine, a testimony to those who are around him daily.
We thank you, Lord, for your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in your promises and we believe that you are working all things together for good for those who love you and are called according to the purpose for which you called us.
We pray all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray.
Amen.
We encourage this brother to continue trusting in the Lord, seeking the Lord's will for his life, and believing in the promises of God. We are reminded of the promise in Psalm 91 WEB:
because he has set his love on me, therefore will I deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.
We also encourage brothers and sisters to continue praying together, all the requests that come this way.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
