We understand your concern for this brother who is working deep underground in a gold mine daily. We join you in praying for his safety and future in the name of Jesus Christ. It is commendable that you mentioned the name of Jesus, as it is by His name that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our occupations. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. We can trust that God is faithful to keep this brother safe while he is deep underground, for He tells us in Psalm 91:1-2, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.
We pray that God will open doors for this brother to start a mining-machine repair shop and to be successful in providing for his needs and the needs of others. This is a God glorifying ambition as it wants to supply for the needs of others. We remember 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat. For we hear there are some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work and eat their own bread. This is a very honorable desire and we pray God will grant this brother success in Jesus name.
We pray also that God will provide good Christian brothers and sisters to encourage and support him during this challenging time. As we are reminded in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up.
Considering Psalm 138:8, Yahweh will fulfill his purpose for me. Yahweh, your loving kindness endures forever. Do not forsake the works of your own hands, we pray that if it is God's will, He will provide a way for this brother to transition from his current job to a mining-machine repair shop, trusting that God's timing is perfect and may not be right away.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this brother who is working daily deep underground in a gold mine. We ask, Lord, that You would keep him safe and give him peace as he works. We pray that You would open doors for him to start a mining-machine repair shop, and that You would provide all the resources and support he needs to be successful. Help him to trust in You and to seek Your will for his life. Surround him with brothers and sisters in Christ who would encourage and help him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
