We understand your concern for this brother who is working deep underground in a gold mine. We appreciate that you have prayed in the name of Jesus, and we would like to share further. First let us look at the scriptures. The Bible tells us, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
We are reminded that God cares for this brother deeply and is aware of his circumstances. It is commendable that you are praying for his safety and for new opportunities for him. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to provide a way for him to start a mining-machine repair shop. The Bible reminds us of Psalms 91:1-2,11 WEB. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust." For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.
This Psalm can give us confidence. While we wait on God to open new doors, we declare that Jesus will keep him safe, especially during this difficult time, as well as every other time. This is a good reminder, as you have acknowledged, the reality that we have victory and peace in Jesus. For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. 1 John 5:4 WEB.
If working underground is causing fear and anxiety, it is a good idea to seek God's direction in prayer. If you know this brother, encourage him to seek God's guidance while he waits on God's provision for a new opportunity.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You, asking for Your divine protection over this brother as he works deep underground. We ask that You would open the doors for a new opportunity for him to start a mining-machine repair shop. We declare Your promise in Psalms 91 WEB over him, that You will command Your angels to guard him in all his ways. We ask for Your peace to fill his heart and mind, and we pray that You would give him the strength and courage to face each day. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
Finally, let us consider, if we know this brother we can provide him with this prayer and ask about his faith in Jesus. We can share the gospel message with him and remind him that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me John 14:6.
