Going 3 km underground in a gold mine on daily basis

I am asking in the name of JESUS that a brother who is going ### km underground in a gold mine daily, would be able to get a mining-machine repair-shop going instead. But that JESUS will keep him safe, especially during this difficult time, as well as every other time. I can only think that working so deep underground must be nerve-wrecking.

We understand your concern for this brother who is working deep underground in a gold mine.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence.

Working in such conditions can indeed be challenging and even dangerous. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" This psalm reassures us that those who trust in God are under His protection.

We pray that God will keep this brother safe as he works deep underground. We ask for God's hedge of protection around him each day as he enters the mine. We also pray for God's peace to fill his heart and mind, casting out any fear or anxiety that may try to overwhelm him. "Don’t be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

Regarding his desire to start a mining-machine repair shop, we pray for God's will to be done. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your work to Yahweh, and your plans will be established." We pray that if it is God's will for him to start this business, that God will open the doors and provide all the necessary resources. We also pray for patience and wisdom as he seeks God's direction in this endeavor.

Lastly, we encourage this brother to continue trusting in God, even in the face of danger and uncertainty. We pray that he will find strength in God's word and comfort in His presence. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6.

It's got to be tough, but we know Jesus is right there with him, just as He promised, "I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). Let's ask God to wrap him in His protective arms each day he goes down, keeping him safe and filling him with peace.
