God's Unfailing Faithfulness!
I will sing of the LORD's great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations. I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself. Psalm 89:1-2
Have you experienced God's faithfulness during your marriage problems? I hope you can say, "yes" quickly. My prayer for you today is that while you are going through the storms of life and marriage problems, regardless if your spouse is home threatening to leave or you may be already divorced, you WILL experience God's faithfulness.
O LORD God Almighty, who is like you? You are mighty, O LORD, and your faithfulness surrounds you. You rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them. Psalm 89:8
How do you make it from one day to the next as you face trials or tribulations? The answer is by God's faithfulness. You need to come to the point in your life where you know that God can get you through anything!
In the Book of Joshua, God showed His faithfulness to His people by taking them into the Promised Land that "flowed with milk and honey." God was faithful to His promises. God promised Joshua that He would not fail him. Yes, he went through difficult times, but God never failed Joshua in any struggle. May you believe, claim and stand on God's Word and His faithfulness every day, in spite of your circumstances.
So the LORD gave Israel all the land he had sworn to give their forefathers, and they took possession of it and settled there. The LORD gave them rest on every side, just as he had sworn to their forefathers. Not one of their enemies withstood them; the LORD handed all their enemies over to them. Not one of all the LORD's good promises to the house of Israel failed; every one was fulfilled. Joshua 21:43-45
I just want to proclaim loudly today that God is faithful to men and women who are choosing to follow God's commands. As you read the Bible you will be reminded over and over again that we must follow God's principles and not live like the rest of the world. We need to ask for God's forgiveness daily, cleansing ourselves of sin in our own heart every day. We need to hate sin and be able to proclaim God's love, forgiveness and a changed life because it has happened to us personally! I pray that you are daily pursuing God in His righteousness, faith, love and peace.
Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:22-23
Do not walk in fear, worry or be in despair due to your marriage problems, but know God's love for you and your children and His unfailing faithfulness. God will defend and protect you from your spouse or from any attack of the enemy. But you must also be faithful in being obedient to God's will and way in your life. When the Holy Spirit tells you to do something, big or little, do you do it or do you give God three reasons you do not want to do it? I pray that as you study God's faithfulness, you will recommit your own heart to being faithful to the Lord 24 hours a day. Remember, you are praying that your spouse is going to be obedient to God's voice, also.
The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil. When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him. Proverbs 16:5-7
Are you having a difficult week? Are you hurting or lonely? Are you overwhelmed by your circumstances? Go to your Lord, tell Him how you feel and allow Him to soothe your wounded heart and calm your fears. Allow Him be your refuge and hope in your time of need. God is faithful to His children.
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. Psalm 91:4
Men and women break contracts, break commitments and break their wedding vows every day. But don't panic! Trust God. Never doubt God's power in touching and changing your spouse's heart when you least expect it. God hates divorce. God created marriage. When God says He will do something, He does it. He is true to His Word. Will you surrender your life and marriage allowing God to put all the broken pieces of your marriage back together again? Your faithful God is the only One who can revive and resurrect your dead marriage. God can also reignite and rekindle the love that your spouse says they do not feel for you any longer!
Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore, I will wait for him.†The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:22-26
Open your Bible tonight and start standing on the promises of God. God wants you to learn about sin, His forgiveness, faith, trust and His amazing love. God's love and His compassion will never fail. He will never reject, abandon or forsake you. He loves you so much that He died on the Cross for you and for all sinners, including your spouse.
Are you faithful? The meaning of the word "faithful" found in The American College Dictionary reads: strict or thorough in the performance of duty; true to one's word, promises, vows, etc.; full of or showing loyalty or fidelity; that may be relied upon, trusted, or believed; adhering or true to face or an original; full of faith; and believing.
May you choose to be faithful to your Lord and to your beloved spouse forever!
"Lord, I worship and praise your Holy Name. I pray that You will remove the blinders that are on _____'s eyes and all other prodigal spouses' eyes. Lord, open their spiritual ears to hear Your faithful voice of wisdom and instructions. You only know all the prodigals' circumstances, so I ask that you keep calling them home by their name every day. Lord, I am praying in agreement with other standers around the world that the spirits of whoredom, lying, seducing, deceiving, separation, adultery or unforgiveness that are attacking _____ and other prodigals be gone, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Lord, nothing is too hard for You. Send Your warrior angels to fight the enemy to release my beloved spouse and all the prodigal spouses and children, quickly and suddenly. You know all the circumstances of every one of Your faithful standers who are waiting. Lord, provide for all my and other standers physical, spiritual and emotional needs. Bless each of us for our faithfulness. God, have mercy on every stander and bring my beloved _____ and all prodigal spouses home, repenting to You. Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness to me even when I may not be aware of Your presence. I love You, Lord. May You have a mighty harvest this week. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen."
