Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name
We join you in this beautiful and humble cry for God's will to be done and for the Holy Spirit to bring truth and clarity to your heart, and we praise God that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
We hear your longing for understanding and revelation, and this desire itself is pleasing to God. He does not hide His will from those who sincerely seek Him. He promises, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. We are encouraged that you are acknowledging Him and asking for His guidance rather than leaning on your own wisdom.
God's plan for you is good and full of hope, as He says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. But His plan is often revealed step by step as we walk with Him, not all at once. His Word is our primary guide, for Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105. And His Holy Spirit works together with His Word to lead us into all truth, for However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. John 16:13.
If you are feeling confusion or a lack of clarity, we encourage you to continue to ask boldly for wisdom, because God promises to give it generously. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We also encourage you to be still and allow God to transform your thinking through His Word, that you may discern His will, as we are told, Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2. He promises personal guidance when we draw near to Him, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before Your throne of grace together and lift up this seeking heart to You. We thank You that You are a God who reveals truth and that Your Holy Spirit dwells within every believer to guide us. Lord, we ask that You touch this heart deeply, quiet every confusing voice, and speak Your truth with clarity and power. Grant an abundance of wisdom, revelation, and understanding according to Your perfect will. Help to trust You with all the heart and to wait patiently on Your timing. Illuminate Your Word and make Your path straight and unmistakably clear. Let Your will be done in this life as it is in heaven, and give the peace that surpasses understanding while waiting for Your direction. We ask all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

It is a gracious work of the Spirit when the heart cries as yours does, Lord, touch my heart with truth and let Thy will be done. That prayer itself is evidence that God is already at work in you, for the work of the Spirit which is the effect of the will of God is to change the human will and so make men willing in the day of His power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure.
You ask for understanding, clarity, truth, guidance and revelation concerning God's plan. Be encouraged that all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God's plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, so in grace we may rest assured that He is King, having mercy on whom He will have mercy and guiding His people with unerring wisdom.
There are two helps by which you may know that guidance. First, there is a revealed will which we must not violate, and that will is plainly set before you in the Inspired Word of God. Believe in this Bible from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation. It will never mislead you. It has never misled anybody. If you would know God's plan, give yourself to that Book, for there you find His character, His promises, and His precepts. His promise may tarry but it never fails, and you will often stumble on a record of His providential dealings or a paragraph concerning His wonderful love that will cheer your heart and make the path clear.
Second, there is a providential will of God which we should always consult, guidance which comes from the circumstances that surround us. With this, believers are familiar. Therefore learn to say and to feel in your heart, I will go or I will stay, I will do this or that, if it is the will of God. It is not foolish presumption that says we will buy and sell and get gain as we please, but humble dependence that says, if the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that. Bring your desires before Him. Whatever your desire may be, He will hear you and attend to it. You are not omniscient and therefore your will can never be wiser than His, but you are His child and therefore your desire shall be very prevalent with Him.
So continue to pray as you have prayed. Ask that the Lord would make you willing to receive what He reveals, that you would not only learn His truth but keep it sweet by walking in it. Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely, and that willingness itself is wrought by grace.
May the Lord grant you a steady light from His Word, a quiet confidence in His providence, and a heart made willing by His Spirit to follow where He leads. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, to guide, to keep, and to establish you in every good work until His will is perfectly fulfilled in you.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Your hunger for truth, clarity and guidance is a good desire and God delights to answer it. He promises that if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generously without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
God's plan and truth are not hidden from those who seek Him humbly. Scripture shows that God reveals His will not to the proud or to those who try to establish their own righteousness, but to those who come as little children, with a humble and teachable heart. To receive His revelation we need both His grace and our own willing response. We pray, and we also walk in obedience, taking heed to His Word and keeping our hearts well ordered to receive what He shows us. It is not only prayer without effort, nor effort without prayer, but both together as we trust Him.
You already have the greatest gifts in Christ through faith. In Him you have forgiveness of sins, adoption as a child of God, and the indwelling Holy Spirit. Faith, hope and love remain, and love is the greatest mark that we belong to Him. As you seek clarity, stay rooted in Scripture, in prayer, and in a life of love and thankfulness to God, even thanking Him for His work in others. That keeps the heart from envy and pride and keeps it open to His leading.
Let us pray for you now.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is the way to salvation, we ask You to touch this heart with Your truth. Pour out Your Holy Spirit and grant clear understanding, wisdom and revelation according to Your will. Quiet every confusion and help Your child to hear Your voice, to choose what pleases You, and to walk in obedience step by step.
