We come before the Lord together, seeking His perfect will and divine understanding for your life. The cry of your heart is heard, and we join with you in asking the Holy Spirit to illuminate God’s plan with clarity, truth, and revelation. The Word of God tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* This is the foundation of our faith—that God’s design for you is good, purposeful, and filled with hope.
Father, we ask You to open the eyes of this dear one’s heart to see Your will unfolding in their life. In Proverbs 3:5-6, You instruct us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lord, we surrender our own limited perspectives and ask that You replace them with Your divine wisdom. Remove any confusion, doubt, or fear that may be clouding their vision, and replace it with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Holy Spirit, we invite You to speak clearly and boldly. Your Word promises in John 16:13, *"However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming."* We ask that You touch their heart with Your truth, revealing the steps they should take, the decisions they should make, and the path You have ordained for them. Let them hear Your voice above all others, for Your sheep know Your voice (John 10:27).
Lord Jesus, You declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). We thank You for being the ultimate revelation of God’s plan for humanity—salvation, redemption, and eternal life. We pray that this truth would anchor their soul, reminding them that every step of their journey is held in Your hands. If there are areas where they have strayed from Your will, whether in relationships, decisions, or priorities, we ask that You convict their heart with Your gentle but firm correction. Help them to walk in obedience, for Your Word says in Psalm 119:105, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path."*
We also lift up any specific areas where they may be seeking direction—whether in their career, relationships, ministry, or personal growth. If they are discerning a potential marriage, we pray that You would bring a godly spouse into their life, one who loves You above all else and seeks to honor You in the covenant of marriage. If they are currently in a relationship that does not align with Your Word—whether through premarital intimacy, unequal yoking with an unbeliever, or any other ungodly dynamic—we rebuke that in Jesus’ name and ask that You break any unholy soul ties. Your Word is clear in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* We pray for strength and courage to walk away from anything that does not honor You.
Father, we also ask that You guard their heart against the lies of the enemy, who seeks to distort Your truth and lead them astray. Your Word warns us in 1 Peter 5:8, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* We stand against any spirit of deception, confusion, or fear, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of Your truth and purpose.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other mediator between God and man, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (1 Timothy 2:5). We thank You, Lord, for the privilege of coming before Your throne with boldness, knowing that You hear us and answer according to Your perfect will.
May this dear one walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You, trusting that Your plans are higher than their plans, and Your ways are higher than their ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). We declare that they will not be shaken, for You are their rock and their salvation (Psalm 62:6). Fill them with Your peace as they wait on You, and let them experience the joy of Your presence as they seek Your face.
In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
