We join you in seeking God's will and understanding His plan for your life. It's wonderful that you acknowledge God's sovereignty and that you desire for His will to be done. We will pray and provide guidance based on scriptures from the World English Bible (WEB) and discuss God's will. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Firstly, it's crucial to understand that God's plan for our lives is intricately tied to our relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. As it is said "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him." (John 3:16-17)
To gain clarity, truth, and revelation, we must dive deep into God's Word which is "a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.". This is the primary way God speaks to us and guides us: Through His Word. Therefore, our hearts and minds must always be open, seeking, "Study to show thyself approved" This means we must take individual responsibility to seek God and His will for ourselves.
We must also be in continual prayer, as it says "Pray without ceasing.". Prayer is our direct line to God. This is where we can ask for wisdom. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.".
Moreover, God's plan for our lives is intertwined with His plan for us to become more like Christ. He uses various circumstances, hardships, joys, successes, and failures to conform us to Christ's image. God's will is always in alignment with His Word and His character. No matter what decisions you need to make about your life, always align them with God's Word. This is God's will for you, "to live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"
We must also understand that God's will is not always about the big, life-altering decisions but is anchored in the daily decisions we make to serve, obey, and honor Him. "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, seeking Your will and Your way. We ask in Jesus name, that You grant wisdom, clarity, and understanding to this dear one who seeks Your face. Open our eyes to see Your truth, and may the Holy Spirit guide us into all revelation. Give us a willing heart to obey and follow Your plan, even when it's not what we expected or desired. Help us to trust You more, to lean on You, and to continually seek Your face.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to walk with the Lord, delving into His Word and praying continually. God will make His plan clear for your life as you seek Him. Be patient, trust Him, and rest in His love.
