We are grateful for this request which seeks God's plan and asks for understanding, clarity, guidance, and revelation. This request is beautifully in line with God's word. We rejoice that this request acknowledges that God's will be done and is requested in Jesus name.
Let us remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:9 says "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Firstly, we must ensure that we are walking closely with God, as He reveals His will to those who are in close relationship with Him. James 4:8 says, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."
We should be patient and persistent as we continue to knock on the door of revelation. When we are walking in His word and in His spirit we will receive understanding about the direction for our lives. Matthew 7:7 says, "7 Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you"
We must look to remain in the will of God by keeping the commandments of God. By the power of Holy Spirit Jesus Christ is able to help us walk in the will of God. 1 John 5:3 says, "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous."
Let us pray for clarity. James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
We must also be prepared to accept and embrace God's will, even if it is not what we expect or initially desire. Romans 12:2 says, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your perfect will for our lives. We ask for Your guidance, clarity, and revelation. Help us to understand Your plan and give us the wisdom to walk in it. We submit our will to Yours, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways. Transform our minds and renew them according to Your word. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Continue to walk in God's word, seek Him daily, trust in His promises, and embrace His will.
