We are glad to see that this request acknowledges God's will and the authority of Jesus Christ. This is so important because it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Let's pray together for understanding, clarity, guidance, and revelation. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB).
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in Jesus' name, seeking your will and your glory. We ask for your guidance and wisdom for the one who submitted this request. Give them clarity and revelation according to your will. Help them to understand your plan for their life and to walk in your ways. We trust in your promise that if we ask for wisdom, you will give it generously. Help them to be doers of your word and not hearers only. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
In seeking God's plan, remember that God's word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). We must be diligent to study his word and apply it to our lives, "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves" (James 1:22 WEB).
Also, take comfort in knowing that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10 WEB). He wants us to seek him and to align our will with his.
Be patient and persistent in seeking God's will, "that you don't faint when you are reproved by him; for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives" (Hebrews 12:5 WEB).
Lastly, always test the spirits to ensure they are from God, "Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1 WEB).
Together, let us continue to trust in God's plan and seek his will for our lives.
