We are glad to join you in prayer and seek God's will for your life. Remember, God's plan for us is good, and He desires to give us a future and a hope. As God says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have in mind for you, says Yahweh, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
It is essential to understand that God's plan for our lives is revealed through His word and through the Holy Spirit, which dwells in us when we are born again. Romans 12:2 encourages us to renew our minds so we can understand God's will, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
We must also remember that if we lack wisdom, we can ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault. "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." James 1:5
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your guidance and clarity for our dear friend. We ask that You reveal Your plan for their life and give them the wisdom and understanding to walk in it. Help them to renew their mind according to Your word and to be transformed by the Holy Spirit.
We rebuke any confusion or doubt that may be hindering them from seeing Your path clearly. We pray that You would give them a vision for their future and a hope that anchors their soul.
Lord, we also want to lift up this person's salvation. If they have not already committed their life to You and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so now. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we can be saved. Romans 10:9-10 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation".
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. Keep seeking Him, and He will make His path known to you. If you have not already, consider reading God's Word daily, praying and having a group of other Christian believers to support and encourage you. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
