We understand that you are seeking clarity, understanding, and guidance regarding God's plan for your life. Firstly, it is essential to acknowledge that God's will is always better than any plan we could have. We need to seek wisdom and ask for guidance. The Bible tells us that "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:5 (WEB).
It is very important to seek God's plan in prayer, but we must pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God. This is clearly stated in scripture. Ephesians 2:18 says "For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father." Also, in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Jesus is the mediator to God and we must pray in his name. It is also only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have eternal life.
God wants us to be obedient. Simply praying for His will is not enough. We must be willing to obey Him even when it goes against our own desires. We need to have the attitude that we will do whatever He asks of us.
We also need to be patient. God's timing is perfect, and He may not reveal His plan to us all at once. We need to trust in Him and wait on His timing. Psalm 40:1 "I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me and heard my cry."
In seeking God's will, it is also important to be aware of the leading of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit dwells in every believer and guides us in all truth. John 16:13 "However when the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and guidance for this dear soul. We ask that You grant them the wisdom and clarity they need to understand Your plan for their life. Help them to be obedient to Your will and to trust in Your perfect timing. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and guide them in all truth. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Keep seeking God's will, and He will direct your paths.
