Firstly, it's crucial to understand that God's plan for us is revealed in His Word, the Bible. His plan is for us to be saved through faith in Jesus Christ, to be sanctified through the Holy Spirit, and to live a life that glorifies Him.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.
This verse assures us that God has a good plan for our lives, and He wants us to seek Him with all our hearts. This means spending time in prayer, reading the Bible, and obeying His commandments.
If there's a specific area of your life where you need guidance, such as relationships, career, or finances, we encourage you to align your desires with biblical principles. For instance, if you're seeking guidance in relationships, remember that 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB tells us, Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? We pray for their relationships, that they will be godly and pleasing to You. We pray for their career, that it will bring glory to Your name. We pray for their finances, that they will be good stewards of the resources You have given them.
If this person did not explicitly mention Jesus or give Him glory, we need to address that. They should be actively pursuing a relationship with Him.
Finally, we pray that they will grow in their faith and become more like Jesus every day. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
