๐Ÿ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿคบ. For itโ€™s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,โ€ Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.
.
Father, thank You for sending Jesus' birth, holy life, teaching, healing, death for our debts, his rising, ascending to heaven, pouring out the Holy Spirit so we can call You Father and live holy lives.
.
We ask Your Name gets honor through our lives & those we reach. Your Kingdom come to us & through us w/ fruit of Holy Spirit, love ---> self-control, gifts, holiness, kindness, remaining in You, resulting in power and love to make disciples obedient to Your Words, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18.
.
Let Your will be known and done on earth as in heaven โ€” happy obedience like the angels gladly do Your bidding, Ps 103:20, quick obedience to what You say as The Father of our Faith in Gen 22, our wills exchanged for Yours, like Jesus did to death on the cross, Jn 6:38, Phil 2:8 -- May we and our hearers hear "Well done," on that day, Lk 19:17, Rom 1:13.

Provide for us on the Mount of The Lord, Gen 22:14 โ€” Spiritual, emotional, social and physical needs (healing, Isa 58:8, finances, Mt 10:10), provision for house, furthering Kingdom. We ask confess we've sinned against you and others, receive forgiveness & pray for those who sin against us, asking they'd repent and be saved. Keep us from temptation, sin, evil, evil people and the evil one, Lk 11:4, Mat 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, Jn 17:15. Angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You in Jesusโ€™ Name, Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the model of prayer our Lord Jesus Christ gave us in Matthew 6:9-13. This prayer is not merely a recitation but a blueprint for how we ought to align our priorities with Godโ€™s Kingdom first, trusting Him to provide for our needs as we seek His will. Your reflection on this passage is deeply rooted in Scripture, and we join with you in lifting these truths before our Heavenly Father.

The Lordโ€™s Prayer begins with reverence for Godโ€™s name, His Kingdom, and His willโ€”reminding us that our first allegiance must always be to Him. As we pray, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven," we acknowledge that our lives are not our own but are to be lived in submission to His perfect plan. This is a call to surrender, to lay down our own agendas, and to embrace the joy of obedience. Jesus Himself modeled this surrender in John 6:38, saying, "For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me." How profound it is that the Creator of the universe humbled Himself to the point of death on a cross, that we might have life and have it abundantly (Philippians 2:8, John 10:10).

We are reminded that seeking Godโ€™s Kingdom first is not a passive endeavor but an active pursuit. Matthew 6:33 declares, "But seek first Godโ€™s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." This is a promise that as we prioritize Godโ€™s purposesโ€”making disciples, walking in holiness, and demonstrating the fruit of the Spiritโ€”He will faithfully provide for our needs. The apostle Paul echoes this truth in Romans 1:5, where he speaks of receiving grace and apostleship "to bring about the obedience of faith among all the nations for his nameโ€™s sake." Our lives are to be living testimonies of Godโ€™s power and love, drawing others to Him through our words and deeds.

Yet, we must also confess that we often fall short of this calling. We struggle with selfishness, distraction, and the temptation to prioritize our own desires over Godโ€™s will. We ask for forgiveness for the times we have sought our own kingdoms rather than His, and we repent of any sin that has hindered our witness. As we pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors," we are reminded of the importance of extending the same grace to others that we have received from God. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden, and we must release it to the Lord, trusting Him to bring healing and restoration (Colossians 3:13).

We also lift up the need for provisionโ€”not just for our physical needs but for every dimension of our lives. The Lord is our Shepherd, and we shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Whether it is healing, financial provision, or strength for the journey, we trust that God will meet us on the "Mount of the Lord," as He did for Abraham in Genesis 22:14. We ask for wisdom to steward His blessings well, using them to further His Kingdom and to bless others. Let us not forget that our ultimate provision is found in Christ, who became poor that we might become rich in Him (2 Corinthians 8:9).

Protection from temptation and evil is another critical aspect of this prayer. The enemy seeks to devour, but God has given us the armor of God to stand firm (Ephesians 6:10-18). We pray for discernment to recognize the schemes of the devil and for the strength to resist him, firm in our faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). We also ask for angelic protection, as the psalmist declares, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11). The Lord is our refuge and fortress, and in Him, we find safety (Psalm 91:2).

Finally, we give thanks for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this has not surrendered their life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and receive the free gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is only in His name that we can boldly come before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise for who You are and all You have done. Thank You for the gift of prayer, for the privilege of communing with You, and for the example Your Son gave us in the Lordโ€™s Prayer. We confess that we have often sought our own will above Yours, and we ask for Your forgiveness. Renew in us a passion for Your Kingdom, that we may live lives that honor You in every way.

Lord, we ask that Your name would be hallowed in our lives and in the lives of those we reach. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in us, just as it is in heaven. Provide for our needsโ€”spiritual, emotional, physical, and financialโ€”according to Your riches in glory. Forgive us our debts, as we forgive those who have sinned against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil and the evil one. Surround us with Your angels for protection and guide us by Your Holy Spirit.

We pray for those who do not yet know You, that their hearts would be softened and their eyes opened to the truth of the Gospel. Use us as vessels of Your love and grace to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that You have commanded.

May we hear those words, "Well done, good and faithful servant," when we stand before You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear friend, as we come together in prayer, let's lift our hearts to our Heavenly Father, just as a child would run to their loving parent. We find comfort in knowing that we can approach Him with confidence, knowing that He cares for us deeply (1 Peter 5:7).

Let's begin by thanking Him for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Because of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection, we have the privilege of calling God our Father and have access to His throne of grace (Ephesians 2:18, Hebrews 4:16). What a wonderful truth to hold onto!

Now, let's align our hearts with His will, just as Jesus taught us in the Lord's Prayer. We pray:

"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen." (Matthew 6:9-13)

As we pray this, let's remember that God's kingdom should be our top priority. We trust that as we seek His kingdom first, He will faithfully provide for all our needs (Matthew 6:33). This doesn't mean we won't face challenges, but it does mean that we can have peace knowing that our loving Father is in control.

Let's also ask for forgiveness for the times when we've put our own desires above His will. We know that He is faithful to forgive us when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9). And let's ask for the strength to resist temptation and to stand firm in our faith, knowing that the Holy Spirit is with us, empowering us to live godly lives (Galatians 5:16, Ephesians 6:10-18).

Finally, let's intercede for those who don't yet know Jesus. We pray that their hearts would be softened and that they would come to know the love and grace of God through Jesus Christ (Romans 10:1).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you as we lifted your heartfelt prayer before our Heavenly Father. Your post was a beautiful reminder of the power of seeking Godโ€™s Kingdom first and aligning our wills with Hisโ€”just as Jesus taught us in Matthew 6.

We have continued to pray that His Name would be hallowed in your life, that His Kingdom would come with fruitfulness and power, and that His perfect will would be done in and through you. We asked the Lord to provide for every needโ€”spiritual, emotional, physical, and financialโ€”just as He promises in His Word. We also prayed for His protection over you, that He would guard your heart from temptation, deliver you from evil, and surround you with His angels.

If the Lord has answered your prayer in any way, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If youโ€™re still waiting on His timing, please know we are here to continue praying alongside you. You are not alone in this journey.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him with all your heart, trusting in His faithfulness. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
