🙏"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil 🐉🤺. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We see your heart in seeking first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, as our Lord Jesus Christ taught us in Matthew 6:33. You’ve rightly lifted up the Lord’s Prayer as a model for how we ought to approach our Heavenly Father—beginning with reverence for His name, surrender to His will, and the advancement of His Kingdom before presenting our own needs. This is a beautiful and necessary posture for every believer.

Let us reflect deeply on these truths together. The Lord’s Prayer is not merely a formula to recite but a framework for how we are to live. When we pray, *"Your kingdom come! Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven,"* we are declaring our allegiance to God’s purposes above our own. This is where many of us stumble, for our flesh often cries out for provision, comfort, or resolution before we have fully submitted to His lordship. Yet Scripture is clear: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33). The order is intentional—Kingdom first, then our needs.

We must also examine our hearts when we come to the line, *"Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors."* This is not a suggestion but a condition. If we harbor bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness toward others, we cannot expect the Father to forgive us (Matthew 6:14-15). This is a sobering truth, yet it is also an invitation to walk in the freedom of Christ’s forgiveness by extending it to others. Are there relationships in your life where you have withheld forgiveness? We encourage you to release those burdens to the Lord and seek reconciliation where possible, for His glory.

Now, let us pray together in alignment with these truths:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, acknowledging that You alone are holy, and Your Kingdom is our greatest treasure. Lord, we confess that too often we have sought our own will above Yours, and we have allowed the cares of this world to distract us from Your purposes. Forgive us, Father. We declare today that Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, just as it is in heaven. May our hearts be so aligned with Yours that we desire nothing more than to see Your name exalted and Your rule established in every area of our lives—our families, our work, our communities, and our nation.

Father, we ask for our daily bread, trusting that You know our needs before we even speak them. But more than physical provision, we ask for spiritual nourishment—Your Word, Your presence, and Your wisdom to guide us each day. Help us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have placed on our lives, that we may be salt and light in a world that desperately needs You.

Lord, we also bring before You any areas of unforgiveness in our hearts. Search us, O God, and know our hearts; try us and know our anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in us, and lead us in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24). If there is anyone we have not forgiven, reveal it to us now, that we may release it to You and walk in the freedom of Your grace. Teach us to forgive as You have forgiven us, for Your mercy is boundless.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Father, we know that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). Strengthen us to stand firm in Your armor, to resist his schemes, and to walk in the victory that is ours through Christ Jesus. Guard our hearts and minds, that we may not be led astray by the lies of this world or the desires of our flesh.

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We surrender all that we are and all that we have to You, for we know that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5). May our lives bring glory to Your name, and may we always seek Your Kingdom first, trusting that You will add all these things unto us. We pray this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Beloved, let us also encourage you to examine whether your pursuit of God’s Kingdom is reflected in every area of your life. Are you honoring Him in your relationships, your finances, your speech, and your thoughts? The call to seek first His Kingdom is not a one-time decision but a daily surrender. If you are in a relationship that does not honor God—whether it involves sexual immorality, unequally yoked partnerships, or any other compromise—we urge you to bring it before the Lord in repentance and seek His guidance. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are courting, let it be with the intention of marriage to a fellow believer, and let your conduct be holy and honorable (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).

Finally, we must address the foundational truth that there is no access to the Father except through Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me"* (John 14:6). If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, if you have not confessed Him as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so today (Romans 10:9). Salvation is found in no other name, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). If you are already a believer, let this truth compel you to share the hope of the Gospel with others, that they too may enter into the Kingdom of God.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Go forth in the confidence that as you seek His Kingdom first, He will faithfully provide all that you need. Walk in obedience, trust in His promises, and let your life be a living testimony to His goodness and grace.

We're right there with you, seeking first God's Kingdom and His righteousness. It's encouraging to see your heart aligned with our Lord's teachings in Matthew 6:33. Let's continue to reflect on these truths together.

We echo the sentiment that the Lord's Prayer is not just words to recite, but a way of life. When we pray, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven," we're declaring our allegiance to God's purposes above our own. This is where we often stumble, isn't it? Our flesh cries out for provision, comfort, or resolution before we've fully submitted to His lordship. But Scripture is clear: "But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33).

Let's also remember the condition for forgiveness in the Lord's Prayer. If we harbor bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness toward others, we cannot expect the Father to forgive us (Matthew 6:14-15). This is a sobering truth, but it's also an invitation to walk in the freedom of Christ's forgiveness by extending it to others. Are there any relationships in your life where you've withheld forgiveness? Let's release those burdens to the Lord and seek reconciliation where possible, for His glory.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to join you in lifting these sacred words before our Heavenly Father. It has been a privilege to stand in agreement with you as we prayed the Lord’s Prayer together, seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all our needs would be added unto us according to His perfect will.

If God has moved in a mighty way in response to your prayer—perhaps bringing provision, forgiveness, protection, or a deeper alignment with His Kingdom purposes—we would love to hear your praise report. There is nothing more encouraging than seeing how the Father answers when His children come before Him in faith.

If, however, you are still waiting and longing to see His hand at work, please know we are still here to stand with you. We invite you to post this request again so we may continue praying alongside you, believing with you that His Kingdom is coming and His will is being done, even now. Let us hold fast to the promise that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him through Jesus Christ, our Savior and King. We pray all these things in His precious and holy Name. Amen.
