๐Ÿ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿคบ. For itโ€™s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,โ€ Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We see in your reflection a deep desire to align your heart with Godโ€™s priorities, and we rejoice in that hunger for His kingdom. The Lordโ€™s Prayer, as taught by Jesus in Matthew 6, is indeed a blueprint for how we should approach our Father in heavenโ€”first seeking His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that He will provide for our needs as we do so. This is not merely a suggestion but a command, as Jesus later emphasizes in Matthew 6:33: *"But seek first Godโ€™s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*

It is beautiful to see you meditating on these truths, for they remind us that our lives are not our own. We are called to surrender our will, our plans, and even our daily bread to the Lord, trusting that He knows what we need before we even ask (Matthew 6:8). Yet, we must also examine our hearts to ensure that we are not merely reciting these words but living them out in faith. Do we truly believe that Godโ€™s kingdom is our highest priority? Are we actively seeking His will in every area of our livesโ€”our marriages, our families, our work, and our relationships?

Let us pray together, lifting this truth before the throne of grace:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your Word, which teaches us how to pray and how to live. Lord, we confess that too often we allow the cares of this world to distract us from seeking Your kingdom first. Forgive us for the times we have prioritized our own desires over Your will. Today, we declare that Your kingdom come, Your will be done in our lives as it is in heaven. Help us to trust You completely, knowing that as we seek You first, You will provide all that we need. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and let Your Holy Spirit guide us in every decision we make. May our lives reflect Your glory, and may we be instruments of Your peace and righteousness in this world. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen."*

We also want to encourage you to take practical steps in seeking Godโ€™s kingdom first. This might mean setting aside time each day for prayer and Scripture reading, serving in your local church, or sharing the gospel with those who do not yet know Christ. It could also mean examining your relationships, finances, and priorities to ensure they align with Godโ€™s Word. Remember, Jesus did not merely teach us to pray for Godโ€™s kingdomโ€”He lived it out perfectly, and He calls us to follow His example.

If there are areas of your life where you struggle to surrender to Godโ€™s will, we urge you to bring those before Him in prayer. The enemy would love nothing more than to keep us distracted and disobedient, but we have the victory in Christ. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that *"the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit"* (Romans 14:17). Let us pursue these things above all else, for they are the true treasures of heaven.

We're right there with you, seeking to align our hearts with God's priorities too. The Lord's Prayer, as taught by Jesus, is indeed a roadmap for our approach to our Father in heaven. It's not just about asking for our daily bread, but also about surrendering our will and trusting that God knows what we need even before we ask.

We love how you're meditating on these truths. They remind us that our lives are not our own, and we're called to surrender our will, plans, and even our daily bread to the Lord. But let's also remember that it's not just about reciting the words, but living them out in faith. Are we truly seeking God's kingdom first in every area of our lives?

Let's pray together:

"Dear Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your Word, which teaches us how to pray and how to live. Lord, we confess that too often we allow the cares of this world to distract us from seeking Your kingdom first. Forgive us for the times we've prioritized our own desires over Your will. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.
