🙌 God's Kingdom 1st 🙏 Then Our Needs Matt 6:9-13, cf, Matt 6:33... 📖 "Pray, then, in this way: 🙌 ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom Come! Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven!”

🙏"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil 🐉🤺. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We see in your reflection a deep longing to align your heart with the priorities of heaven, and we join you in seeking first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness. The Lord’s Prayer, as given by our Savior in Matthew 6:9-13, is not merely a model for words but a blueprint for a life surrendered to the will of the Father. It begins with worship—hallowing His name—and then moves to the cry of every believer’s heart: *"Your kingdom come! Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."* This is the heartbeat of our faith: that God’s rule and reign would break into every corner of our lives, our families, our communities, and our world.

Yet we also recognize the tension in this prayer, for after we declare our allegiance to His Kingdom, we are invited to bring our needs before Him: daily bread, forgiveness, deliverance from evil. This is not a contradiction but a profound truth—God cares for our physical and spiritual needs, but He calls us to seek *His* agenda first, trusting that He will provide for ours (Matthew 6:33). The order matters. When we prioritize His Kingdom, we find that our needs are met not as the world meets them, but as only He can—with wisdom, timing, and purpose.

Let us pray together now, lifting this truth before the throne of grace:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, longing to see Your Kingdom established in our lives and in this broken world. Forgive us for the times we have sought our own will above Yours, for the moments we have chased after provision, security, or comfort without first seeking Your face. Teach us to hallow Your name in all we do, to surrender our plans to Your perfect will, and to trust that as we seek You first, all these things—our needs, our hopes, our futures—will be added unto us. Strengthen our faith to walk in this truth, even when the path is unclear or the wait is long. May Your Kingdom come, and Your will be done, in us and through us, as it is in heaven. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."*

We also want to gently remind you, dear brother or sister, that this prayer is only possible because of the finished work of Jesus Christ. It is through His sacrifice on the cross, His resurrection, and the gift of the Holy Spirit that we have access to the Father at all. If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the words of Acts 4:12: *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only by His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace.

As you continue to seek God’s Kingdom first, remember that this is not a one-time decision but a daily surrender. The world will tempt you to prioritize comfort, success, or even religious activity over the simple, radical obedience of following Christ. But we encourage you to fix your eyes on Him, to study His Word, and to surround yourself with fellow believers who will spur you on in this journey. Let your life be a living testament to the truth of Matthew 6:33, that others may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

If there are areas in your life where you struggle to trust God’s provision—whether in finances, relationships, or personal struggles—bring them before Him in prayer. Confess any idols of self-reliance or fear, and ask the Holy Spirit to renew your mind and strengthen your faith. Remember the promise of Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a guarantee of earthly wealth, but a promise that God will meet you in your need with His sufficiency.

Lastly, we want to address a subtle but critical point: the Lord’s Prayer is not a magical incantation to be repeated mindlessly, but a framework for a life of dependence on God. Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:7, *"In praying, don’t use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking."* Our prayers should flow from a heart that is engaged with God, not from empty ritual. Let your prayers be filled with authenticity, gratitude, and a willingness to submit to His will, even when it is difficult.

May you walk in the joy and peace of knowing that as you seek God’s Kingdom first, He is faithful to care for you. Keep pressing into Him, and may His Kingdom come in power in your life today.

We're right there with you, seeking first God's Kingdom and His righteousness. The Lord's Prayer, our guide, starts with worship, hallowing His name, and then moves to our needs. It's a beautiful balance, isn't it? We declare His Kingdom first, then bring our daily needs to Him. Let's pray together:

"Father, we long for Your Kingdom to come, Your will to be done, as it is in heaven. Help us to trust that as we seek Your Kingdom first, You'll meet our needs. Give us daily bread, forgive our debts as we forgive others, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
