.
Father, thank You for sending Jesus' birth, holy life, teaching, healing, death for our debts, his rising, ascending to heaven, pouring out the Holy Spirit so we can call You Father and live holy lives.
.
We ask Your Name gets honor through our lives & those we reach. Your Kingdom come to us & through us w/ fruit of Holy Spirit, love ---> self-control, gifts, holiness, kindness, remaining in You, resulting in power and love to make disciples obedient to Your Words, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18.
.
Let Your will be known and done on earth as in heaven โ€” happy obedience like the angels gladly do Your bidding, Ps 103:20, quick obedience to what You say as The Father of our Faith in Gen 22, our wills exchanged for Yours, like Jesus did to death on the cross, Jn 6:38, Phil 2:8 -- May we and our hearers hear "Well done," on that day, Lk 19:17, Rom 1:13.

Provide for us on the Mount of The Lord, Gen 22:14 โ€” Spiritual, emotional, social and physical needs (healing, Isa 58:8, finances, Mt 10:10), provision for house, furthering Kingdom. We ask confess we've sinned against you and others, receive forgiveness & pray for those who sin against us, asking they'd repent and be saved. Keep us from temptation, sin, evil, evil people and the evil one, Lk 11:4, Mat 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, Jn 17:15. Angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You in Jesusโ€™ Name, Amen.

We hear your earnest cry for help in seeking Godโ€™s Kingdom first and aligning your life with His will. The struggle to consistently prioritize His Kingdom over our own needs is one many believers face, and your heartfelt request is a beautiful step toward deeper dependence on the Lord. Let us stand with you in prayer and encouragement, grounding our response in Scripture and the truth of Godโ€™s Word.

Youโ€™ve rightly turned to Matthew 6:9-13, where Jesus teaches us to pray, *"Pray like this: โ€˜Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.โ€™"* This prayer is not merely a recitation but a blueprint for how we are to order our livesโ€”Godโ€™s glory first, His Kingdom second, and our needs third. The follow-up in Matthew 6:33 reinforces this: *"But seek first Godโ€™s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* This is not a suggestion but a promise. When we seek Him above all else, He faithfully provides for our needs.

Yet, we must examine our hearts honestly. Do we truly seek His Kingdom first, or do we often reverse the order, asking for our daily bread before surrendering to His will? The flesh wars against the Spirit, and our natural inclination is to prioritize comfort, security, and personal desires over obedience. James 4:3 warns, *"You ask and donโ€™t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures."* This is a sobering truth. If our prayers are self-centered rather than Kingdom-centered, we should not be surprised when they go unanswered. But when we align our hearts with His purposes, we position ourselves to receive His blessings and provision.

Let us also address the foundation of our relationship with God. You mentioned Jesusโ€™ birth, life, death, and resurrectionโ€”praise God for His finished work! But we must ensure that our faith is firmly rooted in Christ alone. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If anyone reading this has not surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His sacrifice, and receive Him as Lord. Without this, our prayers lack the authority and access to the Father that only Christ provides. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."*

Now, let us pray together for the strength to seek Godโ€™s Kingdom first and the faith to trust Him for our needs:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You alone are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. Lord, we confess that too often we prioritize our own desires over Your Kingdom. Forgive us for the times we have sought our will above Yours. Today, we surrender our hearts afresh to You. Help us to seek Your Kingdom first in every area of our livesโ€”our time, our resources, our relationships, and our decisions. May Your name be hallowed in us, and may Your will be done through us as it is in heaven.

Father, we ask for the Holy Spiritโ€™s power to transform our minds and hearts so that we may discern Your will and walk in obedience. Give us the grace to trust You for our daily bread, knowing that You are our Provider. Teach us to pray with Kingdom-focused hearts, asking not only for our needs but for the advancement of Your purposes on earth. Raise us up as vessels of Your love, power, and truth, that we may make disciples and bring glory to Your name.

Lord, we also pray for protection from the enemyโ€™s schemes. Guard our hearts from the temptation to prioritize the temporary over the eternal. Deliver us from evil and fill us with Your peace as we rest in Your promises. May we be a people who live with heavenโ€™s priorities, storing up treasures in heaven rather than on earth. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, who taught us to pray and who intercedes for us even now. Amen.

In your journey to seek Godโ€™s Kingdom first, remember that this is not a one-time decision but a daily surrender. Galatians 5:16-17 reminds us, *"But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you wonโ€™t fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire."* The battle is real, but the victory is already won in Christ. Surround yourself with fellow believers who will encourage you in this pursuit, and immerse yourself in Godโ€™s Word. Let His truth shape your priorities and His Spirit empower you to live them out.

Finally, we encourage you to examine your life for any areas where you may be compromising Godโ€™s standards. Are there relationships, habits, or attitudes that do not align with His Kingdom? Repentance is not a one-time event but a lifestyle of turning away from sin and toward God. 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Do not let guilt or shame keep you from drawing near to Him. Instead, let His grace compel you to live a life that honors Him in all things.

May the Lord strengthen you, guide you, and fill you with His peace as you seek Him above all else. His Kingdom is worth every sacrifice, and His promises are sure. Keep pressing on, dear brother or sister, for the reward is great in heaven.

Dear friend, we're right there with you, seeking God's Kingdom first and His righteousness. Let's remember that Jesus taught us to pray, "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:9-10)

As we pray this, let's ask God to help us align our hearts with His. Let's ask Him to give us the strength to prioritize His Kingdom and His will above our own desires. Let's trust Him to provide for our needs, just as He promises in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

Let's also ask for forgiveness where we've fallen short, and for grace to continue growing in our walk with Him. We're in this together, and we're here to support and encourage you every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
