šŸ™ God's Honor, Reign & Will -- Our Provision, Forgiveness, Relief from Temptation, Evil, Matt 6:9-13...

Good and Faithful Servant
šŸ™ Jesus said, "Pray in this way: ā€˜Our Father in Heaven, May Your Name be honored. Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever, Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in lifting up the Lord’s Prayer, which Jesus Himself taught as the perfect model for how we are to approach our Heavenly Father—with reverence, dependence, and surrender to His will. How beautiful it is that you have turned to this foundational prayer, for it encompasses all that we need: the honor of God’s name, the advancement of His Kingdom, the submission to His will, the provision for our daily needs, the forgiveness of our sins as we forgive others, and the deliverance from temptation and evil.

The Lord’s Prayer is not merely words to recite but a posture of the heart—a recognition that we are utterly dependent on God for everything. When we pray, *"Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored,"* we acknowledge that His glory, not our comfort or desires, is the ultimate purpose of our lives. When we pray, *"Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven,"* we surrender our own plans, ambitions, and even our struggles to His sovereign rule. This is a prayer of alignment, where we ask God to shape our wills to match His, not the other way around.

You have also included the plea for daily bread, which reminds us that every good thing comes from His hand. Whether it is physical sustenance, emotional strength, or spiritual nourishment, we trust Him as our Provider. *"Give us today our daily bread"* is an act of faith, declaring that He is enough for each day’s needs. We do not need to hoard or worry, for our Father knows what we need before we even ask (Matthew 6:8).

Then comes the call to forgiveness—*"Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors."* This is a solemn reminder that our reception of God’s forgiveness is tied to our willingness to extend forgiveness to others. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden that hinders our relationship with God and opens the door to bitterness and strife. If there is anyone you are holding resentment toward, we urge you to release it in obedience to Christ. *"If you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:14-15). This is not a suggestion but a command, and it is for your freedom.

The prayer continues with a cry for protection: *"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."* This acknowledges our weakness and the reality of spiritual warfare. Temptation is not sin itself, but it is the bait that leads to sin if we entertain it. We are called to be vigilant, to flee from temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13), and to resist the devil (James 4:7). Yet, we cannot do this in our own strength. We need the Holy Spirit to guide us, to convict us, and to empower us to walk in righteousness. The evil one seeks to devour, but greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Finally, the prayer closes with a declaration of worship: *"For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen."* This is our confidence—that no matter what we face, God is on His throne, His power is supreme, and His glory will ultimately prevail. There is no situation too difficult, no sin too great, no enemy too strong for our God. He is worthy of all praise, now and forever.

We notice that you included *"in Jesus’ Name"* at the end of your prayer, and we rejoice in this! It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. There is no greater decision you could make.

Now, let us pray together over these truths:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, aligning our hearts with the prayer He taught us. Lord, may Your name be honored in all the earth. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, in our families, in our churches, and in our nations, just as it is in heaven. You are worthy of all glory, and we surrender our plans, our desires, and our struggles to Your perfect will.

Father, we ask for our daily bread—not just the physical sustenance we need, but the spiritual nourishment that comes from Your Word and Your presence. Teach us to trust You for each day’s provision, knowing that You are faithful and will never leave us lacking.

Lord, we confess our sins before You and ask for Your forgiveness. Search our hearts, O God, and reveal any unforgiveness or bitterness we may be harboring. Give us the grace to forgive others as You have forgiven us. Help us to walk in love and unity, reflecting Your mercy to a broken world.

We ask for Your protection, Father. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Strengthen us to resist the schemes of the enemy and to stand firm in Your truth. When we are weak, be our strength. When we are tempted, be our escape. When we are attacked, be our shield.

Finally, Lord, we declare that Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. There is no situation too hard for You, no battle too great. We trust in Your sovereignty and rest in Your promises. May Your will be done in our lives, and may we live each day for Your glory.

We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We have been honored to lift your heartfelt petition before the Father, praying in alignment with the words Jesus Himself taught us. These past days, we have joined you in seeking God’s Name to be honored above all, His Kingdom to come in fullness, and His perfect will to be done in your life as it is in Heaven. We have asked with you for His daily provision, for the grace to forgive as we have been forgiven, and for His protection over your heart and mind against the schemes of the enemy.

How deeply we long to hear how the Lord has moved in response to these prayers rooted in His Word. Has He revealed His faithfulness in new ways? Have you seen His hand providing, guiding, or shielding you from temptation? If so, we would be so encouraged to rejoice with you in a praise report, giving Him all the glory for His answers—whether they came as you expected or in ways only His wisdom could design.

If the burden still feels heavy or the need remains unmet, we want you to know we are here to continue standing with you. Please share your request again, so we can persist in prayer, trusting that our Father hears and acts in His perfect timing. He is never late, and His ways are always good.

May you be strengthened in this season as you seek His face, remembering that He who taught us to pray this way is the same One interceding for you even now. We are praying for your faith to rise as you rest in His sovereignty, knowing that His Kingdom, power, and glory will prevail in your life.

In Jesus Name.
