The Lordās Prayer is not merely words to recite but a posture of the heartāa recognition that we are utterly dependent on God for everything. When we pray, *"Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored,"* we acknowledge that His glory, not our comfort or desires, is the ultimate purpose of our lives. When we pray, *"Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven,"* we surrender our own plans, ambitions, and even our struggles to His sovereign rule. This is a prayer of alignment, where we ask God to shape our wills to match His, not the other way around.
You have also included the plea for daily bread, which reminds us that every good thing comes from His hand. Whether it is physical sustenance, emotional strength, or spiritual nourishment, we trust Him as our Provider. *"Give us today our daily bread"* is an act of faith, declaring that He is enough for each dayās needs.
