šŸ™ Jesus said, "Pray in this way: ā€˜Our Father in Heaven, May Your Name be honored. Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever, Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

What a beautiful reminder of the Lord’s Prayer, which Jesus Himself taught us as the perfect model for how we should approach our Heavenly Father. This prayer is not just words to recite but a profound declaration of our dependence on God, our submission to His will, and our need for His provision, forgiveness, and protection. We join you in lifting this prayer to the Lord, knowing that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.

The Lord’s Prayer begins by centering our hearts on the holiness and sovereignty of God: *"Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy."* (Matthew 6:9, WEB) This is a call to worship, acknowledging that God alone is worthy of all honor, glory, and reverence. It reminds us that our prayers must first exalt Him before we bring our petitions. Do we approach Him with the awe and reverence He deserves, or do we treat prayer as a mere transaction? Let us examine our hearts, ensuring that our prayers are rooted in worship rather than just a list of requests.

*"Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."* (Matthew 6:10, WEB) Here, Jesus teaches us to surrender our desires to the Father’s will. How often do we pray for our own plans to succeed rather than seeking God’s kingdom purposes? True prayer aligns our hearts with His, trusting that His will is perfect, even when it differs from ours. If we are struggling to submit to His will in any area—whether in relationships, career, or personal decisions—let us ask the Lord to soften our hearts and grant us the faith to trust Him completely.

*"Give us today our daily bread."* (Matthew 6:11, WEB) This is a prayer of dependence, acknowledging that every good thing comes from the Father’s hand. It’s not just about physical provision but also about trusting God for our spiritual nourishment. Are we seeking Him daily through His Word, or are we relying on our own strength? Let us remember that man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Deuteronomy 8:3). If you are facing financial struggles, uncertainty, or lack, take heart—our Father knows what we need before we ask (Matthew 6:8). He is Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides.

*"Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors."* (Matthew 6:12, WEB) Forgiveness is at the heart of the Gospel. We are all sinners in need of God’s mercy, and Jesus makes it clear that our forgiveness from the Father is tied to our willingness to forgive others. Is there bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness in your heart toward someone? If so, we urge you to release it to the Lord. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden that hinders our relationship with God and opens the door to the enemy’s schemes. As it says in Mark 11:25, *"Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions."* Let us pray for the grace to forgive as we have been forgiven.

*"Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."* (Matthew 6:13, WEB) This is a cry for protection—both from the temptations that seek to draw us away from God and from the schemes of the devil, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Temptation is not sin, but it reveals the areas where we are vulnerable. Are there specific temptations you are battling—pride, lust, greed, fear, or doubt? Let us bring them before the Lord, asking Him to strengthen us and provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). We are also called to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so that we can stand firm against the enemy’s attacks.

Finally, the prayer concludes with a declaration of God’s eternal sovereignty: *"For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen."* (Matthew 6:13, WEB) This is our confidence—that no matter what we face, God is in control. His kingdom is unshakable, His power is limitless, and His glory will never fade. When we pray, we are not just speaking into the void; we are coming before the Creator of the universe, who holds all things in His hands.

Now, let us pray together over these truths:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of reverence and gratitude, for You alone are holy and worthy of all praise. Your name is above every name, and we ask that You would be glorified in our lives, our families, our churches, and our nations. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in us, just as it is in heaven. Father, we surrender our plans, our desires, and our fears to You, trusting that Your ways are higher than ours.

Lord, we ask for Your provision—both physically and spiritually. You know our needs before we even speak them. Feed us with Your Word, sustain us with Your presence, and provide for us in ways that only You can. Help us to trust You completely, knowing that You are our Shepherd and we shall not want (Psalm 23:1).

Father, we confess our sins before You and ask for Your forgiveness. Wash us clean by the blood of Jesus, and create in us pure hearts. Lord, reveal to us any areas of unforgiveness or bitterness that we may be harboring. Give us the grace to forgive others as You have forgiven us, so that we may walk in freedom and peace.

We ask for Your protection, Lord. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Strengthen us to resist the devil, knowing that he flees when we submit to You (James 4:7). Guard our minds, our hearts, and our homes from the enemy’s schemes. Surround us with Your angels and cover us with Your blood.

Father, we declare that Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. There is no situation too difficult for You, no burden too heavy, no sin too great that Your grace cannot cover. We trust in Your faithfulness, and we give You all the praise.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying the Lord’s Prayer with a heart of surrender and faith. Let it shape your prayers, your priorities, and your perspective. If there are specific areas in your life where you are struggling to trust God’s provision, forgiveness, or protection, we urge you to bring them before the Lord in prayer. He is faithful, and He will answer.

Finally, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* (John 14:6, WEB) There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). There is no greater decision you can make than to place your faith in Him.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We have been humbled and deeply encouraged to lift up your heartfelt prayer before the Father, joining with you in the same words our Savior taught us to pray. There is such power in aligning our hearts with the Lord’s Prayer, knowing that when we ask for His Kingdom to come and His will to be done, we are praying in perfect harmony with His heart. These past days, we have continued to petition the Lord on your behalf—asking for His provision to meet your daily needs, for His mercy to cover your sins as you extend forgiveness to others, and for His mighty hand to shield you from temptation and deliver you from evil.

We know that praying in this way is not just a request but an act of surrender, trusting that our Heavenly Father knows what is best for us even before we ask. It has been our joy to stand with you in this, believing that He is faithful to answer according to His perfect will and timing.

If the Lord has moved in your life since you first shared this request, we would love to rejoice with you. Has He provided in unexpected ways? Have you experienced His forgiveness in a deeper measure or found strength to resist temptation? Please share your praise report with us so we can give Him the glory together.

If you are still waiting, we want you to know we are here to continue praying with you. Sometimes the Lord works in ways we don’t immediately see, and other times He calls us to persist in prayer, trusting Him even in the silence. If this is your heart, we invite you to share your request again so we can keep lifting you up, believing that He who began this good work in you will carry it on to completion.

May you be filled with the peace of knowing that our Father in Heaven delights in you. May you rest in the assurance that His Kingdom, power, and glory are at work in your life, even now. We are praying for you, trusting that He will lead you forward in faith, one day at a time.

In Jesus Name.
