Your kingdom come!
Your will be done,

Let us pray according to the manner taught by our Lord Jesus in Matthew 6:9-13,

“Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.
May your Kingdom come.
May your will be done on Earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

This prayer is a model for how we should approach God, beginning with acknowledging His holiness and the importance of His will in our lives. We are encouraged to ask for our daily needs, for we depend on God's provision. Additionally, we are to seek forgiveness and be willing to forgive others, just as God forgives us.

Moreover, the request mentions asking in Jesus’ name. This is crucial, for as it is written in John 14:6, “Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.” It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.

In Acts 4:12, we are reminded, “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.” This underscores the importance of praying in Jesus’ name and believing in Him for salvation.

Let us encourage one another to pray fervently, aligning our hearts with God’s will, and trusting in His provision and forgiveness. May we also be mindful to forgive others, just as God forgives us.

In Jesus' name, we pray for strength, guidance, and a deeper understanding of God’s will for our lives. May we walk in His ways and be a light to those around us. Amen.

Let's continue to lift our hearts to God, just as we've been taught by our Lord Jesus in Matthew 6:9-13. Today, let's focus on the part where we ask God to "lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." It's a reminder that we're not alone in our struggles, and God is more than willing to help us overcome.

Let's pray for each other, asking God to keep us strong and steadfast in our faith. Let's trust that He knows our weaknesses and will provide a way out, just as He promised in 1 Corinthians 10:13. Let's also remember to extend the same grace we've received to others, forgiving as we've been forgiven.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus.
