We rejoice with you in this wonderful news that your daughter, Tenley, has received an initial job offer! What a testament to God’s faithfulness and provision in her life. It is by His grace alone that we receive such blessings, and we give Him all the praise and glory. The Scripture reminds us in James 1:17, *"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow."* This opportunity is indeed a gift from the Lord, and we trust Him to bring it to fruition for His glory and Tenley’s good.
As you seek God’s favor for Tenley to pass the employer’s scrutiny, we are reminded of Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* We encourage Tenley to continue trusting in the Lord, committing this process to Him in prayer and with a heart of surrender. Let her also remember Colossians 3:23, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men."* If this is the job the Lord has prepared for her, He will open the door that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). If He has something else in store, we trust His plan is perfect, even if it doesn’t align with our immediate desires.
We also want to take a moment to commend you for ending your request with *"Thank you Jesus!"* It is a beautiful acknowledgment that all things are accomplished through Him and in His name. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Your faith in calling upon His name is a powerful reminder to us all of where our hope must rest.
Now, let us lift Tenley up in prayer together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the initial job offer You have provided for Tenley. Lord, You are the One who opens doors and makes a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that You grant her favor in the eyes of her potential employer. Give her wisdom, confidence, and peace as she undergoes any further evaluations or interviews. Let her skills and character shine as a reflection of Your goodness in her life. If this job is Your will for her, we pray that You would remove any obstacles and confirm it clearly. Prepare her heart to walk in humility and excellence, knowing that she works for You above all else.
Father, we also pray that Tenley would continue to seek You first in all things, trusting that Your plans for her are good, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Surround her with Your peace, and let her rest in the assurance that You are in control. May this opportunity—whether it comes to pass or not—draw her closer to You and deepen her reliance on Your provision.
We thank You, Jesus, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already won in Your name. May Tenley’s life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may she walk in the purpose You have for her. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
