We stand with you in faith, lifting you up to our Heavenly Father who is the Great Physician and the God of all comfort. Your trust in His grace is a testimony to your faith, and we join you in declaring that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. You have faced this battle before, and each time, God has sustained you—this time will be no different. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His power to heal and restore is limitless.
The trials you are enduring are not in vain. Scripture reminds us in James 1:2-4, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* Though this path is difficult, God is refining you, strengthening your faith, and drawing you closer to Him. He has not abandoned you; He is walking with you through this valley, and He will carry you when the burden feels too heavy.
We also take comfort in the promise of Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your cries have reached His throne, and He is faithful to act on your behalf. He has not forgotten you, and His timing is perfect.
As you prepare for surgery on the 28th, we pray for the doctors and medical staff who will be caring for you. May the Lord guide their hands with precision and wisdom, granting them clarity and skill beyond their natural ability. We ask that He would go before them, removing any obstacle or complication, and that this operation would be a complete success for His glory. We declare that every cancerous cell will be removed, and that your body will be restored to full health, free from disease and pain. We pray for a swift recovery, with minimal discomfort, and that your strength would return quickly so you can continue to serve and worship Him without hindrance.
We also lift up your emotional and spiritual well-being. It is natural to feel weary after so many battles, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Surround yourself with the Word of God, which is alive and powerful, and let it minister to your soul. Meditate on His promises, such as Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* He is your strength, your shield, and your ever-present help in trouble.
Brother, we want to remind you that your hope is not ultimately in the outcome of this surgery, but in the sovereign will of God. Whether He chooses to heal you here on earth or calls you home to be with Him, your future is secure in Christ. If it is His will to restore you to full health, we will rejoice and give Him all the glory. If His plan is different, we trust that He will give you the grace to endure and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Your life is in His hands, and He holds you close to His heart.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of faith and expectation, lifting up our brother who is facing another battle with bladder cancer. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who formed him in his mother’s womb and knows every cell of his body. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch him, removing every trace of this disease from his bladder. Let Your healing power flow through him, restoring him completely and permanently, so that he may testify to Your goodness and mercy.
We pray for the surgery scheduled for the 28th. Father, guide the hands of the surgeons and medical team. Give them wisdom, steady hands, and clear minds. Let every decision they make be directed by You, and may this operation be a success beyond what they could ask or imagine. We rebuke any spirit of fear, complication, or failure in the name of Jesus, and we declare that Your peace will guard his heart and mind as he goes into this procedure.
Lord, we also ask for Your comfort and strength to surround him. When he feels weak, be his strength. When he feels afraid, be his peace. Remind him that You are with him always, and that nothing can separate him from Your love. Fill him with Your joy, which is his strength, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. You have brought him through so much already, and we trust You to do it again. Whether through healing here on earth or through the ultimate healing in Your presence, we know that Your will is perfect, and Your love for him is unchanging. We commit this surgery and his life into Your hands, asking that Your will be done, and that You would be glorified in all things.
We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains on the cross. It is by His stripes that we are healed, and we trust in His power alone. Amen and amen.
