God's Angels

Dear Father in Heaven,

I pray today that all Christians develop a deeper appreciation and love for God's Holy Angels who guide, encourage and strengthen us every day of our lives. As God's faithful spiritual servants sent by Him to serve His will and protect us from danger, and showing us how to praise and worship Him, they are always watching over us. The Bible tells us so. 

“For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.”

(Psalm 91:11-12)

Without God's guardian angels, we shall surely stumble. 

“See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.”

(Exodus 23:20)

Let us pray for the presence of angels in all we do in God's name.

“Beware that you don’t look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of my Heavenly Father.”

(Matthew 18:10)

We pray for God's angels to bless us, teach us and save us so that we may be considered worthy to inherit God's Heavenly Kingdom and eternal life. 

“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?”

(Hebrews 1:14)

Directing our steps every moment, God's Holy Angels are His messengers as well as His warriors.

“The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all. Praise the LORD, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His bidding, who obey His word. Praise the LORD, all His heavenly hosts, you His servants who do His will. Praise the LORD, all His works. Everywhere in His dominion. Praise the LORD, my soul.”

(Psalm 103:19-22)

Upon God's throne, there are millions of angels created, not only to protect us, but to powerfully praise and glorify God.  

“Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they sang: ‘Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise.'”

(Revelation 5:11-12)

So, brothers and sisters, let us do the same!

Prayer Focus & Confession: God in Jesus’ name teach me how to  place this day, my life, my loved ones, my family, my friends,  my work, my health, my spiritual walk, my finances, and all my concerns in the Lord's hands. There is no harm in the Lord's hands, only good. Whatever happens, whatever results, if I am in the Lord's hands, it is the Lord's will and it is good. So I place this day, my life, my loved ones, my work, my health, my spiritual walk, my finances, and all my concerns in the Lord's hands. Amen!

"Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrew 4:16

Father, I boldly come to your throne of mercy with this child’s need. I ask in your mighty power to meet this child’s need. I pray that this child of yours may experience your great love and care for them today. Give them eyes to see your hand of mercy at work in their life. Awaken all their senses to the realization that you will never leave them or forsake them.

In Jesus Christ’s Name I pray,  that you will receive and answer your child's prayers according to your perfect will and timing. Amen
