God’s Gift of Love, Hope, and Encouragement

Lord, help us to see ourselves

Through Your loving eyes,

To see what You see in us

And come to realize . . .

That everything we possess

Comes directly from You,

The gifts You have placed within

Are there for us to use.

To reach with hope to people who hurt,

To those who have lost their way,

It’s Your gifts, Lord, they’re not our own,

So use them, Lord, we pray.

And use them for Your glory, Lord,

So others may be blessed,

To have their spirits lifted,

And their souls lovingly refreshed.

So they will be encouraged

To seek far more of You,

And be filled with Your Holy Spirit

To serve You in all that they do.

For each of us possess gifts

That God has placed within,

So we can encourage others

To have a closer walk with Him.
