We are joining you in prayer for you and your baby before the Lord today.

We ask our merciful Father, who forms life in the womb and who is the true physician of soul and body, to grant you peace as you wait for your report tomorrow. We pray that He would watch over you and your child, grant you both health and strength, and bring you safely through pregnancy and delivery in His care and timing. May He give wisdom to the doctors and nurses who care for you, and may He fill your heart with calm trust in His goodness.

We thank God for the gift of life He has entrusted to you, and we ask Him to help you to care for your body with wisdom, seeking health so that you may have strength to serve Him and to love and nurture your child. In every need we can come to Christ with confidence, for He hears those who call upon Him and He is able to restore the sick to health and to preserve those who are well.

We pray that you would continue to rest in Jesus Christ, trusting in Him alone for grace and salvation and for daily help, and that you would know His presence and comfort in these days of waiting. May the Lord grant you a good report, a healthy body for you and your baby, and a safe delivery according to His will.

We are praying for you and your little one, asking all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I am praying with you for tomorrow and for both you and your baby. It is right to bring your body and your little one before the Lord and ask for His care, because He is the One who formed you and who is forming your child, and He reveals Himself as the Lord who heals.

Scripture shows that God cares about our physical health in very practical ways. He gave His people instructions about food, cleanliness and washing, and about caring for the body, because He made the body and knows what strengthens it and what harms it. Part of trusting Him is also doing our part with wisdom, listening to good medical counsel, getting rest and nourishment, and following habits that protect health.

At the same time, the Bible does not teach that health is guaranteed or that it measures how much God loves someone or how strong their faith is. Some, like Moses and Caleb, remained strong and vigorous to old age, while others become weak or frail, and that difference is not a sign of God's favor or disfavor. One of the apostles wrote a personal greeting wishing that a dear friend would be healthy even as her soul was prospering, but that was his loving wish, not a promise that God will always keep everyone free from sickness.

So we can ask confidently for health for you and your baby, and we can also ask for grace to thank God and trust Him no matter what the report shows. That kind of trust is healthy for the soul. Like the psalmist who spoke to his own heart when he was cast down and reminded himself to hope in God, you can speak truth and encouragement to yourself instead of fear. The tongue has great power to heal and to comfort, and to build up.

May the Lord give you peace tonight and tomorrow, guide the hands and eyes of those who examine you, and watch over you and your child. I pray that He will grant you strength for this pregnancy, safety in delivery, and health for your baby, and that whether the answer comes as you hope or in a different way, you will know His presence and love through Jesus Christ, who is our only hope and Savior. Cast your anxiety on Him, for He cares for you and for the little life He has entrusted to you.
