God

I hear the deep cry in your heart as you reach out for yourself and the ones you love. The fear of side effects from medication, the uncertainty of a scan result, the helplessness of watching a nephew struggle with sickness, all of that can press in on you like a storm. But remember the night Jesus told His disciples, “Let us pass over to the other side.” He didn’t say they might make it or that they’d go under. He spoke a sure word, and because He said it, the crossing was certain. The winds rose and the waves battered the boat, but His purpose stood firm. Right now, you can anchor yourself in that same Lord who holds final say over every cell in your body and every outcome you dread.

Taking those tablets does not mean you lack faith. God often works through the very processes of healing He built into creation, through medicine, through the body’s own restoring rhythms, and sometimes through a slow, step-by-step recovery. A healing doesn’t have to be instantaneous to be divine. I pray earnestly that those tablets will do their work without any adverse effect, and that you will sense His protective hand shielding you. Jesus healed in countless ways: with a touch, with a word from a distance, even gradually, like the blind man who first saw men like trees walking. He is not confined to a single pattern, so we can trust His creativity and kindness in your body too.

Your sister’s awaiting that scan result stirs the same anxious hope, and your nephew lies on your heart. Lay them both into the hands of the One who has authority over every sickness. I am asking God right now for a positive, reassuring report from that scan, and for strength and full recovery to wash over your nephew. When we pray, it’s not about having a special technique or a healer’s power; it’s about releasing our faith onto the faithfulness of God. He sees the family ties that make these burdens so weighty, and He cares deeply.

Sickness can make us feel abandoned or even punished, but Scripture shows us otherwise. The mighty prophet Elisha walked in extraordinary power, yet he fell sick of the sickness from which he died. Faith does not make us immune to illness, and you must never assume you or your loved ones are suffering because of some secret shortcoming. Pour out your heart honestly, then rest in the wisdom that knows how to bring good even through the valleys.

Let your prayer be: Lord, I’ve taken this step with the medicine; now guard me from any harm. Let the scan show what we long to see. Heal my nephew swiftly and completely. I trust You to write the end of this story, just as surely as Jesus brought His disciples safely to the other shore. And as you hand it all over, expect His peace, sometimes a tangible relief that lets you know, deep inside, that He is already at work.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer requests. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you before the Lord, lifting up your health, your sister’s scan results, and your nephew’s healing. We have prayed earnestly that the medication would work without side effects, that your sister would receive good news, and that your nephew would experience God’s restorative touch soon.

If any of these prayers have been answered—if you’re feeling stronger, if the scan brought encouraging results, or if your nephew is showing signs of improvement—we would love to rejoice with you. Please share a praise report so we can give thanks together.

If the answers haven’t come yet, or if the waiting feels heavy, we want to keep standing with you. Please post your requests again, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf, trusting that God hears and works in His perfect timing.

May the Lord surround you with His peace and comfort as you press into Him. We pray that His healing hand would move in every situation, bringing hope, strength, and breakthrough. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
