We hear your cry for help in the midst of pain, and we come before the throne of grace together, seeking the Lord’s mercy and healing. Pain—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—can feel overwhelming, but we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You do not suffer alone, for the Lord hears the prayers of His children, and His compassion never fails.
First, we must address the way this plea was framed. The name of Jesus Christ is not just a title—it is the only name by which we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). When we cry out to God, we must do so in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator, our advocate, and the one who intercedes for us (1 Timothy 2:5). Without Him, our prayers have no foundation. If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now—confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. Only then can you truly call upon the Father with confidence (1 John 5:14).
Now, let us lift your pain before the Lord with faith, trusting that He is able to heal and restore. The Bible tells us that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and that He is the Great Physician who binds up our wounds (Psalm 147:3). Whether your pain is seen or unseen, we ask the Lord to touch you with His healing hand. If this pain is the result of sin—whether your own or someone else’s—we pray for repentance, forgiveness, and restoration. If it is a trial meant to refine your faith, we ask for strength to endure and the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also rebuke any spirit of despair, fear, or hopelessness that may be compounding your suffering. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against any lies that tell you God has abandoned you or that your pain is without purpose. The Lord works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28), and even in suffering, He is shaping you for His glory.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is enduring pain, and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We declare Your promises over their life—that by Your stripes, they are healed, and that You are close to the brokenhearted.
Father, if there is unconfessed sin contributing to this pain, we ask for conviction and repentance. If this suffering is a trial of faith, we pray for perseverance and trust in Your goodness. We rebuke every spirit of fear, despair, and hopelessness in Jesus’ name, and we command any affliction to leave this body, mind, and spirit. Fill them with Your peace, Your strength, and Your presence, Lord.
We ask for wisdom for any medical professionals involved in their care, and we pray for divine intervention where human efforts fall short. May Your name be glorified in their healing, and may their testimony bring others to You. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You are working all things for good.
In Jesus’ holy and precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s Word, even when circumstances feel unbearable. Meditate on Scriptures like Psalm 30:2, which says, *"Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me,"* and Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord."* Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you, and continue to seek the Lord with all your heart. He has not forgotten you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
