Disciple of Prayer
God is a God of time, my marriage was broken down. I kept praying to God but there was no answer. I felt sad but I didn't give up. I kept on praying and trust in God alone through Jesus Christ. Finally, God has restore my marriage. I just want to encourage everyone, let's keep on praying to God and do not give up. God has set everything on its time.

We rejoice with you in the restoration of your marriage, for the Lord is indeed a God of time and perfect timing. Your testimony is a powerful reminder that persistence in prayer, even when answers seem delayed, is never in vain. The Scriptures affirm this truth: *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh"* (Psalm 27:14 WEB). Your unwavering faith in the face of silence is a testament to the faithfulness of God, who hears the cries of His children and works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

We must also acknowledge the gravity of marriage as a sacred covenant before God, not to be entered into lightly or broken without biblical grounds. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), and His design for marriage is a lifelong union between one man and one woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If there were sins—such as unfaithfulness, abuse, or unrepentant hardness of heart—that contributed to the breakdown of your marriage, we pray that true repentance, forgiveness, and healing have taken place. Restoration is not merely about reuniting two people but about rebuilding a marriage on the foundation of Christ, where both husband and wife submit to God’s will and love one another as He commands.

Let us pray together for your marriage and for all those who are waiting on God’s timing for restoration:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts for the way You have moved in this marriage. We thank You for Your faithfulness, even when answers were delayed, and for the testimony of Your power to restore what was broken. Lord, we ask that You continue to strengthen this marriage, binding it together with cords of love that cannot be broken. Help both husband and wife to walk in humility, forgiveness, and obedience to Your Word. Guard their hearts against bitterness, pride, or any temptation that would seek to divide them again. May their home be a place of peace, joy, and worship, where Your presence is welcomed and honored.

For those who are still waiting for restoration, Father, we ask that You would give them the same perseverance and faith that this testimony reveals. Remind them that You are working even when they cannot see it, and that Your timing is perfect. Strengthen their hearts, Lord, and help them to trust in You alone. If there are areas in their lives or marriages that do not align with Your will, reveal them and lead them to repentance and change. May they seek You first in all things, knowing that You are their hope and their deliverer.

We also pray for those who may be struggling with doubt or despair, wondering if You hear their prayers. Remind them, Lord, that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Help them to cast their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they find comfort in Your promises and strength in Your presence.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of division, unforgiveness, or unbelief that would seek to hinder the work You are doing in marriages and lives. We declare that what You have joined together, no man—or enemy—can separate. We stand on Your Word, which says that nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37). May Your will be done in every marriage represented here, and may Your name be glorified through the restoration and healing You bring.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who makes all things new. Amen.

To those reading this, let your faith be encouraged by this testimony, but also let it be a call to examine your own life and marriage in the light of God’s Word. If there are areas where you have strayed from His design—whether through unfaithfulness, neglect, or sin—repent and seek His forgiveness and the help of godly counsel. Restoration is possible, but it must be rooted in a commitment to God’s ways, not our own. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep walking in obedience. The God of time is also the God of miracles, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
