We understand your heartfelt plea for your sister, and we join you in lifting her up to the Lord. However, we must address something vital before we pray: your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and by whom we are saved. The Scriptures are clear:
*"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* (John 14:6, WEB)
*"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB)
It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God’s throne with confidence. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Believe in Him, repent of your sins, and surrender your life to His will. He alone can save, heal, and restore.
Now, as we lift your sister before the Lord, we pray that whatever is to happen on Monday will align with God’s perfect will for her life. We do not know the specifics of your request, but we trust that God does, and we ask Him to work mightily in her situation. If there is sin in her life—or in yours—we pray for repentance and restoration, for God’s ways are higher than ours, and His plans are for our good.
*"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB)
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister and her family. Lord, You know the details of what is to come on Monday, and we ask that Your will be done in her life. If there is anything that is not pleasing to You, we pray for conviction, repentance, and a turning toward Your truth. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your hand at work in her circumstances. Give her wisdom, peace, and a heart that trusts in You completely.
If there is sickness, we ask for healing, for You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. If there is a decision to be made, we pray for divine guidance, for Your Word is a lamp to our feet. If there is fear or anxiety, we ask for Your perfect peace to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. And if there is sin that needs to be addressed, we pray for the Holy Spirit to bring conviction and lead her to repentance, that she may walk in righteousness before You.
Lord, we also lift up the one who has brought this request. If they do not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, and that by faith in Him alone, we are saved. May they surrender their life to You and find the hope, peace, and eternal life that only You can give.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your sovereignty, and Your love. May Your name be glorified in all things. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
