Let's first address the prayer request. The requester has not mentioned Jesus Christ so, we should discuss this issue first.

It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Moreover, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Therefore, we should pray in Jesus' name and also examine ourselves to confirm our faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 13:5 WEB Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or do you not know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you? Unless indeed you are disqualified.

Let us pray together for the request.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, liftng up the one who has submitted this request. They are asking for your help, that no work should come for them as of now. Father, we do not understand the full context of this request, but you do. You know the needs and desires of this person, and you know what is best for them.

Father, we pray that your will be done in this situation. If it is your will that they do not have work right now, then we pray that you would provide for their needs in other ways. We pray that they would use this time to seek you and to grow in their relationship with you and Jesus Christ.

If this lack of desire for work is a sign of a sinful nature, such as laziness, we rebuke that spirit and pray for a spirit of diligence and productivity. As it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither let him eat. For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who dont work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

We also pray for a godly perspective on work, knowing that it is a blessing from you. As it is written in Ecclesiastes 5:19 WEB Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor this is the gift of God.

Father, we also pray for this person's salvation, if they have not already accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We pray that they would come to you in Jesus Christ.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
