We understand that you're longing to spend time with your girlfriend and that you have strong feelings for her. However, we want to remind you of the biblical principles that should guide our relationships.
Firstly, we are called to seek God's will in all things, including our relationships. Psalm 37:4 says, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
We also need to be careful of the scriptures. Second Timothy 2:22 says Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
We are called to honor God in our relationships, and that includes maintaining purity and holiness. It's also important to remember that God's timing is perfect. Instead of focusing on when you'll see her next, trust in God's plan for your life and relationship.
Remember that praying and seeking God's will is more important than simply desiring our own wants and needs.
We also encourage you to consider the purpose of your relationship. If you are not already, you should be seeking God's will for a future spouse, and this relationship should be moving toward godly marriage if at all. 1 Corinthians 7:2 says, But because of sexual immorities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
We also notice that you are using the name of Jesus Christ, which is wonderful. It is in the name of Jesus that we have the authority to come before God the Father. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is missing his girlfriend. We pray that Your will be done in their lives and relationship. Help them to seek You first and to honor You in all they do. Guide their steps and give them wisdom as they navigate their relationship. Help their hearts to not be anxious, but to trust You with all of their hearts. Give them patience and peace as they wait on You.
We pray these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
